My family and I have moved over 10 times. This company was beyond bad; unprofessional dishonest crooks is a more apt description. You may get an initial low estimate out of them, but in the end, they charge a lot more with their add-ons. Instead of arriving that morning, they arrived early evening, then wanted to quit after a few hours and finish the next day, and were stinkers when told the apt had to be vacated by midnight. They "crated" the $4k tv by cutting up cardboard boxes to wrap it in, admitted that it likely would not arrive in working order, and charged us extra for this "service" even though we then opted to move it ourselves in our suv. The "boss" told us they expected a tip. We had researched online what a good tip would be, and gave them above that because they had to stay late to get the job done before midnight. Then he had the gall to tell us it was not enough and tried to extort more from us! Although our goods were promised to us in a wk, it took 4 wks of constant phone calls, unkept promises and delays before they delivered. We went through a broker who actually hired these fools to do our move. Read the 1-star reviews! They are accurate! If in fact the 5-star reviews are legit, they are anomalies!

The movers all did a great job. They did an excellent job of relocating bulky parts in tight quarters. There was no blemish on the wall. The nicest aspect was that they were able to accommodate our last-minute weekend reservation. What a fantastic company!

Every time I have to select a moving company, I become anxious. Investing in this company was a wise financial move. I requested a two-person team, but received a team of five instead. They performed a wonderful job and appeared to enjoy themselves.

My husband and I recently completed an interstate with "Arena Van Lines" (who also appears to be doing business as Boost Express Van Lines). We had high hopes for a streamlined, stress-free move and for our belongings to be handled with care by professionals. Unfortunately, our experience with Arena Van Lines / Boost Express Van Lines was extremely unsatisfactory, unprofessional, and damaged many of our items. Initially, we were quoted $3,500 for the move and told that the “binding fee” we paid would keep our total cost low. Unfortunately, that cost has ballooned to more than $6,000 (and counting).We were given multiple pickup dates that kept changing at the last minute, causing a lot of confusion and stress. On moving day, Arena Van Lines / Boost Express Van Lines increased our price by $1,200 from the estimate, despite removing several large items from the load. They also charged us $150 for “extra flights of stairs” when we only have one flight (apparently, one “flight” of stairs is only seven steps - this is highly irregular and misleading "fine print").The movers failed to load many items we had specifically requested them to take. As a result, we spent hundreds to ship what we could and had to throw away many items, including irreplaceable antiques and other items with sentimental value.They were also incredibly unprofessional. One of the movers used our bathroom without permission, which wouldn’t have been a big deal… except that they left the seat up and failed to flush the toilet. At the end of loading, the drop-off representative demanded a large tip or said we would owe hundreds more. When delivering our items, the movers only brought in 35 of our 104 boxes, stacking the rest haphazardly in our carport and leaving trash in our yard. Nearly all our furniture was damaged, including two end tables, a desk, an entertainment center, and a coffee table. One of the drop-off movers even harassed us, blaming their damages on our “cheap furniture” and then texting us hours later to continue “proving his point.”In the end, we got scammed into a premium “stress-free” move, but Arena Van Lines / Boost Express Van Lines caused massive headaches, damage, frustration, and outrageous extra costs. From start to finish, our move was a nightmarish experience, and we strongly recommend you go with basically any other company you can find – or just handle the move yourself. I can pretty much guarantee that even the hassle of a DIY cross-country move will be far less stressful and upsetting than what you get with this company.
