I want to acknowledge the staff at Phillipsburg. Everyone is so pleasant. I want to give a shout out to Billy. He is professional, kind and always has been so kind and helpful. Not many stores have such pleasant people. I like this Stop&Shop because it's local and it's not huge. They always have everything I need. In addition, Stop & Shop carries Boars Head cold cuts and that's a plus!

If I could give the Starbucks there, I'd give it a negative 10!!! I don't know why I keep going back. She wouldn't disclose her name to me today. She made me go around the sign and said rudely "MY line starts over here"..(there was no line!!!!!!!!!!) This is the third strike..someone needs to have a talk with her. Thank you for your time.

I sent my son to get cases of water because it was on sale. They would not give him the sale price because he didn't have the store bonus card. He explained that his mom had one and he wanted to put in my phone number but because I wasn't there they wouldn't let him and charged him full price. They didn't even offer for him to get a card of his own or use there own store card. Seriously, if you want to bring a customer back why not offer the discount. I know I have gotten it before. That wasn't good customer service in my opinion.

I can't even give this store one star as a rating. The store does not follow covid-19 restrictions as they state on their website. They don't enforce social distancing, their management is sub-par. Today I went there and people in the self-check out line were breathing down my back, the employees are not wearing their masks properly, people are walking around the store with their masks improperly on. Management wears masks that are not sufficient and not acceptable by the CDC. When I approach management, Frank the customers service manager whom I was directed to, stated, "We were here before the pandemic, we'll be here after the pandemic, sorry you feel that way, have a nice day." It's not the first time I've been given a snarkey answer like this and I will never visit this store again. Meanwhile, Shop-Rite across the street is much cleaner and much better managed.

Stay as far away as possible. Store manager Fred threatened my life! He was less than 6 inches away from my face, screaming and yelling and pointing his finger at me. When I asked him to please stay 6 feet apart he went berserk. I contacted the Presidents office yesterday and asked them to review the security film. He's is a dangerous person, dont go near this store.

When the pandemic started and Walmart and ShopRite around the corner were out of everything, I drove to this store, hoping I could find some missing essentials. I was then shocked to see how much stuff they had in stock! To be honest, I rarely shopped here until then, even though I shopped at other stores in the same mall every week. Yesterday, Walmart was out of few things, including cilantro and many spices, so I decided to try this store again. And boy, I was glad! Not only they had everything I couldn't find at Walmart (except yeast for baking), I realized that they had an amazing section for lactose-free... well, EVERYTHING!!! (Mostly at the fresh produce section) Being lactose intolerant is especially hard when many recipes call for so much butter and cream. I always went all the way to Easton for them but this Stop&Shop actually has so much more!!! Lactose free butter, cream cheese, sour cream, half & half and evaporated milk! They also had many varieties & flavors of lactose-free ice cream and dairy-alternative items. Let me tell you, I've been looking for lactose-free butter for a long time and only a very small number of companies makes it. This store became my instant favorite store! I also want to point out that the store was much cleaner and somewhat nicer compared to my "rare" pre-pandemic visits here. I'll definitely become a regular shopper here! And yes, I got my membership card. P. S. Please add lactose-free condensed milk. :)

It is a ghost town. Dimly light, and almost like the phillipsburg mall. I want to like it because it has the potential to be similar to a Whole Foods but unfortunately they are not. I guess I'll stick to ShopRite over stop and shop. If they were busy it would create traffic. Meat looked warm. I wondered the shelf life on products...
