i've been a chase bank customer for 5 years now and i regret it all the time.
the phillipsburg branch is incredibly frustrating to visit but it's the closest branch to my house. The ATM machines are regularly broken. it's been 5 years and the outside machine has never, NOT ONCE accepted a deposit. I rely on them working since my business opens before the bank opens, and it closes hours after the bank closes. it must be nice to work bankers hours but it's truly inconvenient to the rest of us. I've asked the bank employees many times to try to fix this issue but they throw their hands up and claim that it's not their responsibility. I've called chase and reported the broken ATMs but they never get them fixed.
If you're on the fence on where to open your next account, i'm recommending that you find another bank. This bank takes no responsibility for their shortcomings and passes the blame off at every opportunity.

I went there to open a new account around 11:00 am, to my greatest surprise the mgr told me she has no time now but to come back by 1:00pm!
They have no client or customer in the bank at the time!
Shouldn't the mgr drop everything and attend to open up a new account for the bank? They have just lost one customer!
I went straight up to TB Bank to open up my new account with them with lasted for about 20 minutes!
Horrible customer service at this bank very unprofessional!

Miss Ana really does not respect the order of arrival, I had an appointment with her and right on time a person arrived an hour late and attended to her first. It seems to me that if you have and make an appointment it is because you need it. At that time here we are busy working and there is little time to go to a bank, that is why the attention in this office from Ana is the worst...lack of respect...

The customer service here is horrible! They didn't answer the phone after multiple times of calling. Once someone finally answered the phone, the dude was rude and had an attitude problem. You're in the wrong business with an attitude like that, dude.

I recently had opened an account here since my husband recommended this bank. Every single staff at this location is always so pleasant and helpful. One employee in particular had stood out to me, her name is Tanya. Sweetest lady ever and I certainly enjoy going to Chase just to handle my business with her. Anytime there's ever an issue with something she always goes above and beyond to assist me or my husband. She deserves not only employee of the month, but employee of the year! Thank you for all that you do, it never goes unnoticed ?

I had to stop there during a very stressful day, and handed the person behind the counter my driver's license for a transaction. When I was done I thought I was forgetting something, and asked the guy if there was anything else, but he said no and went on to the next customer. 2 hours later, I got a phone call that they still have my driver's license! Unfortunately I live 3 hours away and it's practically impossible to get there during their business hours to get it back, never mind how much gas would cost for the round trip. I was only in the area for something specific that day, and I can't afford to spend an entire day just driving around to get it back during banking hours. They absolutely refuse to mail it back to me or help in any way, even though it was their employee who kept it and didn't return it. I've been a Chase client for over a decade, but I'm seriously considering closing my accounts with them over this. As a company, they mail out debit cards and credit cards all the time, but apparently it's impossible to return a driver's license. I've been trying to resolve this for over a month and I just can't believe how much they take their customers for granted and refuse to help.
