Faster than waiting around in line at Autozone, The carquest and API parts are better quality also than Autozone's generics (Duralast could be any low cost product from any number of factories around the world--install it once you may be installing again under warranty). Advance also has a ton of name brand items you can get same day or next day.Needs improvement: Warranty policy. If you go on a trip away from your local store, the nearest store may decline a defective warranty claim unless you have a receipt--phone number not enough (not the case with AZ and many other national retailers). At least that was what some employee mumbled to me, either because they didn't care to do extra work, or because there is some official policy--unknown--that you must only do warranty at the store that sold you the item. I may have had the receipt in the glove box but decided to just leave to avoid dealing with these folks who were needlessly reluctant to honor the warranty. Sad because I had only 1 or 2 cranks remaining before needing AAA to start my car.

Advance for the win! When it is 8:30 pm and literally no other place is open which can change a car battery, call Advance. CJ was friendly and through and got the corroded old battery out and cleaned up in little time getting me back on the road and back to work. He even gave me helpful advice to keep this new battery running better. Give these guys a raise for saving the day for so many people.

Just like the many other stores but this one is smaller and the a very tight small parking lot. If busy you may not find a space. The employees were knowledgeable and helpful.

Mike here is a stud. Project was creating a custom wire harness for my semi installing a power inverter. He came out, looked at my truck, and project at hand. Both discussed what works best the correct way without burning my semi down.

I'm not someone who frequents auto parts stores often. I recently purchased a alternator part for a repair man who needed help while busy. Upon purchasing the part that was very expensive. There was a very kind gentleman who tested my old one and told me it was good. In less than 24 hours I came to return a unused part, the Associate at the time told me repair shop used and installed it. What am I to do? I had know knowledge this is an item that was so delicate to handling. The store decided store credit was my only option. Seems not bad right? Unfortunately I can't use almost 400 dollars in a store I have been in once a year. I called customer service and I was told by customer service " It is common knowledge that alternators are electrical parts and electrical parts are non returnable" I guess I got skipped on that common sense trait. I was not given any information as to what type of part it was nor any return policy information. Customer service also said there is ALWAYS a paper around somewhere that list returnable and non returnable items that also indicates store policies. Unfortunately I was not directed to any such item at anytime. The point of this is for ANYONE who is NOT a "regular" PLEASE be very AWARE of all the store policies they keep "hanging around" as associates will NOT tell you or indicate at any time.

Average auto parts store. Not the cleanest most well organized place but they usually have what you need in stock and if they don't, they usually can get next day in store delivery. The staff is hit or miss, some days they are very knowledgeable and helpful other days not so much.
