I'd been trying to sell my family's sterling silverware, but kept getting bait & switched by other local dealers. (I would name them here but am not sure if that's allowed.) At any rate, NJ Gold Buyers offered the best price on the phone and honored that after I brought in the silverware. I definitely recommend them and they will now be the first place I go to, not the last.

They do not give you 90%. Didn’t even show me the weight of my items so I could see how it was calculated and gave me significantly less than they’re worth. I didn’t negotiate because I was uncomfortable and had never done this before, but I wish I had taken my items back. If you go here, make sure you look up personally how much gold is selling for that day so they don’t take advantage of you. Everyone needs to make money and I understand that, but this was really wrong. Don’t advertise a policy you won’t adhere to and don’t take advantage of younger people. If you go here, make sure you stand your ground and let them know you know what the price of gold is selling for that day. Best of luck.

Honest and genuine owner .. most gold buyers are looking to rip off the customer but not here .. for starters they pay 90 percent of the current value... I challenge anyone to find a place other than online that will do that... online stores can pay that because they don't have an overhead of rent, utilities, property taxes etc like a store front has and yet here even with all of those expenses they still pay the 90 percent market value... on top of that the owner is a great guy who will inform you on anything you ask and with a smile ..

I walked in assuming it was a pawn shop because Google placed it under just that. Even though I wasn't looking to sell Edwin still gave me prices on my gold to see the value if I sell. We also spoke about several things. I learned important points when buying gold concerning that a piece of jewelry but the bars of gold. He showed me all sizes the purchase amount and if I was to sell amount. We also went over some topics with watches and coins. I didn't sell anything but walked out with more than I came in with. I went home more knowledgable about sales of gold prices fluctuating and other important fun facts that may help down the line. I will def give them 5 stars+customer oriented A+customer services A+Cummunication-A+Knowledgable-A+takes their time with you not rushed -A+Prices they payout for gold-A+ A+ A+I saw some negative reviews and I can guarantee they are fraudulent like from a competitor. Theres no way his prices are not the highest around! Customer service was above and beyond. Look at every positive review we all highlight areas around the same things about this shop.the neg reviews just stand way out n don't fit in. It really sucks when a business has built their reputation to outstanding and then you have jealous dishonest competitors unhappy with their reviews and reputation so they try and make a dent in good honest businesses. Also if the new reviews were from real customers so be it.you can't make everyone happy you will also get a nasty person shoving the wrath of their nonsense on you. I used to be a manager at a shop here in edison and I've dealt with the same thing it was a good honest shop but we would always get that one person you just couldnt please and they unleash fire on your business

Measure right in front of you, state certified scale, prices of gold and silver right on the board for your view (and spot on in comparison to kitco current prices) and they always pay 90%. I cannot understand why anyone would give less than a 5 star review. The family there is always kind and transparent.

This place paid me $200 more than I was expecting and I aimed really high. They paid well over the others in the area. I had quotes from 50% to 70%. I almost sold at 70% when I saw nj gold buyers pays 90%. I called and 90% it was. Will definitely recommend you. People call and compare trust me!

I went in recently and the owner try to rip me off. BAD100% NOT the most paying place.Response from the owner 45 minutes agoAnother fake review by a competitor. As soon as google verifies who is making these fake accounts I will sue you!I believe that is a threat! Look at this foolish owners reply, tells you about his moral characteristic of the persona. Do not judge me with your ill intent and lies by saying this is fake review by a competitor! The only thing fake in here is you!
