If you're unsure about this place, just go ahead and make an appointment already! I have never been disappointed with any service here. Lyza is the sweetest human I have come across. The whole staff is wonderful. This isn't just a job for them. It's more than slapping color onto your hair and trimming away your dead ends. They engage with you and treat you like a person rather than just another appointment. I haven't cut my hair for about 5 years and finally went in today to get one. I was nervous to cut my hair, but Lyza did an amazing job! I've never trusted someone with my hair more than I do with her. I don't book anywhere else nor do I ever plan too.

I bought a Groupon for deep conditioning and styling. I made my appointment for March 17th, my birthday. When I came to this salon, I was so charmed by the look of this place. So adorable :) I was greeted by Tara, the owner. Such a pleasant person with a great positive vibe. There was some mix up with my appointment but she resolved that right away. I was offered nice cup of tea . The deep conditioning was great and the blowout done by Lyza ..... BEST BLOWOUT I have ever had done!!!!! I absolutely loved it!!! I cant wait to go back there and have my highlights done by Lyza! I found my new salon I'm glad I was scrolling through Groupon! I wish I could add a picture of my beautifully styled hair. Thank you

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Warm and welcoming place with the nicest owner and amazing hairstylists. When you walk in you are immediately greeted and offered a beverage. The atmosphere in this salon is a 10/10. The salon is decorated so nicely. Hairdresser Lyza was absolutely amazing, super accommodating, and most importantly very knowledgeable and professional. She explained everything she was doing and made me feel comfortable and confident. Overall such a good experience and I will be returning!Services: Haircut

Lyza did my hair and I absolutely love the passion she has for hair. I’m usually picky with my hairstylist but her confidence made me very comfortable with her!! I’ve gotten my hair cut by Lyza on numerous occasions. I’ve had glazes and blowouts done by her as well. Every time I walk out feeling like a new woman. The premises are so beautiful and clean. I love this salon! There is an awesome coffee bar and I LOVE coffee! I highly recommend services by Lyza.

I wasn’t satisfied with the service , called numerous times left messages even spoke with someone no names. Typically salons get you back in ASAP if you’re not pleased this person did not go out of their way at all m. It was very disappointing. It’s over a month no word back from the salon … at this point I’m over it and give it 2 stars the service wasn’t the price and the customer service after was 0 stars.

I was looking for a last minute haircut and desperate to find a new spot and am so glad that I came across layers. I was able to get a same day appointment with Natalie and she was so incredibly sweet and gave me a great haircut. I also ended up getting a handwritten post card a week later from her which was a nice gesture. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning!

I am so happy I found this salon. I moved from Hoboken, NJ to Wayne, NJ in 2020. I found a salon for trims that was just okay. Wanting to find a salon I loved I stumbled across Layers Salon. I have now been twice and had Sarah as my stylist both times. She is energetic and so sweet wanting to make sure you leave her services feeling beautiful. I went in yesterday for a haircut and glaze. My hair is so soft and the products they use smell so damn good. I need to go back and buy the leave in conditioner. I told Sarah I was going to dinner that night and she spent extra time to make my blow out extra voluminous and cute! I am so happy I found Sarah and this salon. Everyone is so nice and they do great work! I think next time I will add a few highlights to my service. I wish I took a photo yesterday to share!Services: Haircut
