I've used CVS in Pequannock for many years. The Pharmacy department has become unprofessional, the younger female pharmacist working 7/3/24 is rude. I got a prescription filled got home and realized it was the wrong strength, my insurance paid for the wrong strength. I went back and was told, by the pharmacist that she can't take it back and I was responsible for checking dosage and medication before leaving with my prescription. If it's delivery, she'll have to cime up with another incompetent excuse. I am a retired RN, however my meds were placed in a bag and stapled, I'm supposed to tear open the bag get my list of medication and dosage compare while at the checkout. My insurance will not cover this very expensive medication again this month. Well I'm on alot of medications, I'm a senior citizen and I trusted the Pharmacy to get it right. The ratings have declined at this CVS and I am transferring my prescriptions to a competent Pharmacy. Be aware.

This CVS definitely has a better pharmacist now. Dr. Pauleena assisted me when I had a question at the consultation counter & the checkout tech Moe (forgot his name ) took the time to go above and beyond to look my profile information up and see if I need any refills done while I was there. Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience before when the previous pharmacist and technicians forgot to ask me if I have other Rxs and I ended up suffering a reaction which landed me in a hospital. I will give 5 stars if it continues improving like this and edit my review. 06/20/2024
Edit: I came back and my other medicine was out of stock. This one seems to always be an issue in every cvs of the area. It's frustrating.

This place is going downhill fast for pharmacy. Always a line of at least 5 deep no matter when I come. The one associate manning the pickup always has to ask the pharmacist a question and she is constantly on the phone. I am in fact writing this review waiting for them to re-run my prescription that was already ready in order to use a coupon. Time for corporate to pay attention or the life of this store is limited. Vote with your money and shop elsewhere.

Damn You CVS! Not only do you sell things at 3 times the price of other pharmacy’s, but now you don’t even answer your phones. I will permanently stop using your services but I will spread the word about your selfish practices

Horrible customer service! You have to have to leave a message for pharmacy to check on your prescription and no one ever calls back!!! Also.can never get a ln actual person on the phone!!

Awwwful experience!! I put one star just to write my review … 0 stars!!! The “ladies” at the pharmacy are rude and they make fun of the people, if they don’t like to deal with customers LOOK FOR ANOTHER JOB!!!!!

I went to this location and the manager Ravi and some tiny Filipino woman were talking about an African American customer in a disparaging way and a way that I'm not even comfortable staring here. Long story short they were equating them to an African animal. I will literally never shop at a CVS ever again. Disgusting.

Great shopping experience! We needed a passport photo for my grandson and we were assisted by a friendly, informative young man. The cashier was also spot on! Courteous and friendly.Thank you CVS

Pharmacy does not answer the phone. I spent over 3 hours listening to hold music yesterday, after my doctor unintentionally sent my prescription to this pharmacy instead of the one by my home. My husband finally had to call the manager, who still couldn’t get the pharmacy to answer their phone. I went a whole day without extremely important medication I need. They never helped solve the problem and the pharmacy by me had to make an exception so I could get my medication.

I went tonight to pick up my prescriptions. Once again, they screwed up and gave me the wrong dosage. As soon as I got home, I called to rectify the situation. I explained the situation they put me on hold 18 minutes later when they closed at 8 o’clock they hung up on me. How difficult would it have been for them to come on the line and say we’re closing now we will get back to you tomorrow. No they didn’t have the common decency to do something like that. Who do these people hire. Completely incompetent people. People who have no training in life, no home training, no manners, no nothing.

Worst pharmacy ever. Lucky if you get through on the phone. Medication is constantly out of stock & no notification from them. I sit in pain at their mercy for over a week now.

Have a serious form of psoriasis that causes my hand and feet to blister. Tried to tell me that without insurance the 30 gram 2-4 week supply of .5% low dose steroid cream that I’ve been getting for over a year was 379 dollars. THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY NINE DOLLARS!!! They were rude and left me on hold for over an hour while they tried to see if they could find a picture of the prescription. Upon finding it they told me they couldn’t give it to me. I found the same cream, at every other pharmacy, for 35 dollars at multiple other pharmacies. They didn’t make even slightest effort to help me or treat me with courtesy. They were rude, abrasive, and subsequently useless. My hands are physically covered in blood. There are things like good rx and other coupons that typically people with an ounce of human decency would offer in such an instance, or price match be it they are the only organization attempting to sell this item at such a blasphemous price. They aren’t there to help you ladies and gentlemen, they are just money hungry pigs that attempt to use “expert knowledge” to belittle you and make you feel cornered into paying their criminally inflated prices. I will never go back here despite it being down the street. It should be illegal to be so appallingly and grotesquely inconsiderate and shamelessly corrupt.

I gotta say this location is amazing, it's got it all, even has a Minute Clinic. Pharmacy staff are hard-working, gonna transfer my prescriptions here in the future. Front end are nice, but store can use a little bit more organizing. Plenty of parking space. I definitely recommend this location to family and friends.
