I spent a lovely afternoon there with the owner Alyce. It's a wonderful cozy shop, the gals there are very knowledgeable and friendly. We were in town for work from Utah and I ended up buying a Bernina 770 QE also a few other goodies ?. They shipped it to me quickly, I couldn't be happier. I will be back anytime we're in New Jersey!

There are some places on this earth that are in the business for the love of the art of sewing and want to share that love and help others become skilled sewers. My wife just returned from Acme having purchased a beautiful sewing machine from them. Ann could not have been more helpful showing her how to use the machine. She stayed an hour after closing to make sure that my wife knew how to use the machine. The store is extremely welcoming, the staff is so knowledgeable, and kind. We will be back again. Thank you Alice and Ann!

This business has good sewing machines and service, sufficient notions, but fabric is mostly cotton ....if you quilt, that is fine.

I needed a military jacket embroidered name replaced. It was from a deceased friend of mine, and I wanted my name put on the jacket and his name removed. The name had to be embroidered to match the style of the original name. I brought it to them, and they did it in the same day, for a very reasonable price. Excellent workmanship. I highly recommend them.
