Tried by phone to speak with the pharmacy during regular hours and not lunch hours and was on hold for 15 minutes and I finally hung up...called back a second time. On hold another 20 min...finally tried calling back to main store and was transfered back to speak with someone. This was Saturday and I was told the pharmacy is closed on Sunday. Taking our business to Rit-Aid.

This has been happening for months my husband's scripts have been escribed and every time you're either out of it closed or you're sending the script to the wrong doctor for refill then they're saying denied. he's been out of multiple medications for days sometimes weeks at a time. saying it's too early for refills when he's been out and does have refills on some medications and they're saying he does not so we have to call the doctor again ourselves and it still takes days to refill when he's been out for over weeks already. He is diabetic and disabled and we have to keep going through this we're looking into changing pharmacies this is ridiculous.

I have went here a few times and it depends on when you go cause some staff can be really rude and some of the staff is really sweet..one time i walked in there to look at things and the worker kept following me around like i was up to something but wasnt and made me feel very uncomfortable.

We started coming to Walgreens for a couple of our prescriptions since NJ decided that it must be at least partially grandma and grandpa's fault that 18-year-olds with no prescriptions to pain killers are still getting hold of them and accidentally killing themselves, so people their grandparents' age (plus many others) must be held responsible. One consistent thing I've noticed in my years of being back here is that NJ loves to point fingers and lay blame. If they can find someone to blame, by gum, Mabel, the problem's almost halfway solved. First, Wamart caved with no warning and began charging full price, leaving us scrambling to find an alternative; the obvious choice was Walgreens, where the prices for the painkillers is reasonable. The hard part is explaining to medical providers that we want ONLY this prescription at Walgreens; all others stay at Walmart. We get mixed results. It's too bad that everyone doesn't have a computer to help track things when they get so terribly complicated. The reason for two stars is the refill system. We've become rather spoiled by Wal-Mart's very efficient system and Walgeen's came as a bit of a surprise. We don't usually get around to calling things in until late in the evenings and everything's closed, which has never been an issue with Walmart. They make calls and do what's needed to get your prescription. With Walgreens, even though they have all the info, if It's after hours, please call back when we're open. What do you even say to that?
