“First, “MIDAS” Auto Service (a.k.a.: FROM NOW ON…THE ONLY PLACE I will take my car for service & TLC) is the Perfect name for this solid GOLD gem I discovered by chance at 3601 Miller RD in Wilmington, DE.I am SERIOUSLY IMPRESSED…with EVERYONE & EVERY PART (see what I did there?) of my experience at this automotive shop — in a red, shiny new (1 yr old), modern & comfortably sized building — which peaks out from a slightly set back slope on Miller Rd, near Lea Boulevard.Gotta say, as far as 1st impressions go, they don’t get any better than the one made by Reese (sp?) who answered (cough— my endless questions, I mean) the initial call & set up the appointment. He is also the friendly face who greets you at the front desk when you walk into the entrance with comfortable waiting area. Chris, the owner (it turns out) was there too, quietly multitasking. Great chemistry between the two.Just as impressive, the really efficient, great service (you can watch through the window into the garage) and the professional and friendly guys working “under the hoods”. Nice, easy chemistry between them too. The whole team, just really nice, likable, low key, professional.Oh, and GREAT PRICE! I could not ask for a better experience. SOOOO glad I found this place!!! “We had a flat tire on 95 South 5 minutes from DJ’s automotive in New Castle DE around 2pm during a trip from NJ to Jacksonville Florida. We called Costco tire center. But they didn’t carry the tires that my husband wanted to get. We found DJA on line with an almost 5 star review. They ordered the tires from a warehouse near by. The tires were there shortly. They immediately fixed our problems and we were able to go on the road again. Their efficiency, honesty and attitude to their customers are hard to fine. “Can't say enough good things about Bob, I took him my restored 1986 Chevy pickup for a rear differential rebuild because the Pinion bearing was bad. and i wanted the Gears upgraded to 4.10.He performed a complete overhaul on the whole axle for me including new Locking differential, bearings, gear set, new axle shafts, new brakes including wheel cylinders and even hard lines going to the wheel cylinders! He gave me a great great price for the massive amount of work he performed. And he got it done quick. He is a stand up guy and is the most honest mechanic i've ever dealt with.”
