Team is very loving of their animals and the feral kitties outside. It was so hard to walk away with only one cat. Wanted to take them all home!

It isn't easy to rescue pets who are often abandoned or abused. This shelter gets very high marks for their loving care. We're lucky to have them.

We just lost our black and grey tabby to lymphoma. We needed a kitty to help heal our hearts and we left with not one, but 2 sweet girls. The volunteers were so helpful, friendly, and they ultimately helped us find the perfect fit. Thank you!!

We just adopted “Gulliver”, we named him Fred, from this shelter 2 weeks ago. He died yesterday, very suddenly, from Feline panleukopenia virus, aka, Feline Distemper. I called and spoke with his foster mom, and apparently he was not vaccinated before coming home with us, likely contracted the virus from the staff interacting with the 100’s of feral cats outside, and he was barely weaned. This little guy died a sudden, and horrific death. I would not normally say anything negative about anyone who “rescues” animals, but in this case, for all of the kittens sake, I am speaking up. Yes, our Vet at Tri-Co confirmed what Fred had and we paid to end his suffering. We are heartbroken and so angry. Please find another shelter to adopt from. This place is basically a cat hoarding situation, and needs to be cleaned up, and ALL the animals evaluated. This was a HIGHLY preventable death. I will be looking into reporting them to the state.

If you want a cat or a kitten, they have what you are looking for. My wife and I have gotten 3 cats from there. Friendly service, and a good group of folks looking out for cats that need homes. The cats are spayed and given proper meds if needed. Consider Pennsville animal shelter before some random pet store, they post the new arrivals on there Facebook page which is very convenient.
