I try to support small business especially for minorities but everytime I go here the experience is unprofessional and weird. It seems it’s one of those businesses where the owner hires their family and YOU CAN TELL! All the staff looks under 18-20 years old and they act like it! No one ever smiles or says hi can I help you like a normal business. I usually have to say hi first which is a no no, did anyone here take any kind of classes or lessons before starting a business. I get it this is in the “hood” and the staff may think they don’t have to be at their best but if a white man walks in with a business suit on would that make the staff act right? The cooks don’t wear gloves, no hair nets and they talk in Spanish thinking people don’t know what they are saying. Please do better bodega I hate to leave this kind of review but the service is just that bad. If you have another bodega closer to you just go there. La Bodega plz greet your customers, ask if they need help or what they needed today. Do not just look at them like they have 5 heads, business will begin to sky rocket trust me! Even if you don’t care about the customers (which you should) fake it, you need our money to continue your business and to also do better than you did last year financially. Businesses should be looking to make more money each fiscal year but the way the staff acts you’d think this store was a multimillion dollar business lol. I stopped buying food from here now all I get is fronto and they even make that a weird experience!

Just catered my son’s basketball team dinner with them! And it was a HIT!!! They are very professional and made sure everything was perfect! Thank you Bodega856 … the boys at St. Joe’s prep appreciated it!

Poor meat-to-toppings ratio in the hoagie. Wings were overly wet and fries were ok. .I ketchup given.

These people think it’s ok to judge customers in Spanish talking about peoples appearances piercings and tattoos speaking in Spanish like people don’t know Spanish meanwhile they cook with no gloves or washing their hands and no hair nets or hats to restrain their hair from getting into the food maybe instead of saying peoples piercings are the most disgusting thing they ever seen in their life they learn what servsafe is with their spare time

As a corner store they offer a wide range of products and food in the store.. If you need rolling papers they gotchu, if you need a bacon egg and cheese they gotchu, if you need a charger cuz urs just took a p*** they gotchu..Amazing food amazing people, real people from the neighborhood that are really about their community!!I don't know the owner personally but I am good friends with a close friend of his and I completely support anyone who helps out with winter coat drives and back to school supplies for the community. That's real love and support, giving back to those that helped you get to where your at now?

Best bodega Ive been to. Everyone is so friendly to me and my kids when I come. Prices are great and pastelillos are bangin. Shoutout to the employees who are welcoming and super helpful. Great energy in this store.
