The Bodega 856 is a great family owned and run store and a best bodega in town. As a corner store they offer a wide range of products and food. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with great portions. The food is nice, delicious, and amazing. The pancakes are buttery and fluffy, the eggs are done as requested, and the bacon is very good and tasty to the crisp. The wings are a bit spicy and a bit dry, so definitely ask for sauce. The fries are crispy and the pastelillos are bangin. They are very professional for catering, making sure everything is perfect. The store is clean with great energy. Everyone is so friendly, nice, welcoming, and super helpful. They are real people from the neighborhood that are really about their community, giving back with support like coat drives. They are open until 10 most of the week. Stop in anytime or call ahead for a quick pick up or delivery, which arrives steamy hot.

Nice food, I asked for delivery and the food arrived steamy hot to my place. The wings are a bit spicy eve though you don’t buy them spicy. I really love it. And because they are fried with no flower or bread they are a bit dry so definitely ask for sauce. 10/10 for me.

I got the chicken and waffle. The waffle was hot and fresh! It was so soft and buttery.
