Very clean (although it smells like weed and bleach). Staff is very friendly. The entire store seems to have been last updated since it was a ShopNBag. The selection for Hispanic food is very good but could be slightly better for other items. They seem to be dealing with a generic supplier since the cooperative closed. If you were to make this your regular grocery store, it would probably be fine, definitely better than an Acme.My only major complaint is that they lock the carts in the front area so you can't take your groceries in the cart to the car. All the carts also appear to be stolen from WalMart, which I severely approve of.Also, I am a vegetarian so I do not eat seafood, but seafood is prominently featured on the front of the building, but their seafood section as of writing this review is closed and sectioned off. So just something to consider if you want to buy seafood. They also have some old ShopNBag advertising still up, which I appreciate. It was very nostalgic since I haven't been to a ShopNBag in about 20 years.

Supremo is just what you would expect, a fine alternative option to the big grocery stores. While they only have two checkout lines, they move along rather quickly. I have utilized this advantage for added convenience sometimes when the Wegmans nearby is overcrowded by an after church or work shopping mob. The Supremo has an impressive selection of produce, though some staples like cauliflower are missing, and others may be upcharged. Like another review stated, I found some niche things for sale here that are not available at most stores because of the niche products. I also found some items, like the spice rack for $1.50, undercuts the competition. I never expect an ethnic grocer would get negative reviews for not speaking English, but that's some people's version of yelp these days, putting others down and finding reasons to be cranky. Please find it in your heart to skip those reviews with the anti-immigrant agenda, and instead focus on the value this store offers its customers.

The supremo food market in Pennsauken NJ is a joke! An item was advertised for sale that I was interested in purchasing. Unfortunately, it was not available so, the next day I called the store to ask if and or when the item would be in stock, I was told that I was being transferred to a manager. Bruce we got on the line stating that he was the manager. I asked Bruce those same questions. He spoke and understood very little English. When I asked Bruce those questions, he could not answer them and hung up the phone on me.I contacted Supremos corporate offices in North Jersey. I was told that there is no Bruce that works as a manager at Pennsauken supremo food market they stated that the manager's name in fact was Yvette.I called the store back and asked for your vet Yvette answered the phone and I asked her the same questions if and when they would have the item back in stock she told me that she would Chuck put me on hold about 12 minutes later a unfamiliar voice picked up the phone and said that your vet would not be able to help. Of course I got absolutely no answers to what I thought was a reasonable question. The management at this particular store is inept to say release not to mention the fact that their prices are sky high so when they have a sale it's good to see however it is not good when they don't have the item in stock and can't tell you when it will be in stock. I will not be frequenting the store again anytime soon.

Everytime I go to this supermarket they over price the items. I went there three times and on all three different occasions they were dishonest at the register. All three occasions I told the girl at the register that's not the price and also that's not the correct item they ring me up for. I normally buy yuca and sweet potatoes. Please watch the prices and what you are buying they are very dishonest at the registers. I'm so glad I don't shop there a lot. Please be careful.

Oh, my. Overpriced by ALOT for many basic grocery items. On the plus side, I saw items that are hard to find anywhere, like the cutest pork shoulders with skin on. We Filipinos like to cook them as "lechon." Very hard to find that particular cut of meat. The deli was closed on a weekend afternoon. There is a cute little section with crafts from Mexico. The place does look old and tired.
