Recently hosted our daughter’s first birthday party here and we absolutely loved this venue! It’s spacious, clean, and have beautiful views of the river. All of our guests were so impressed and had a wonderful time! Working with Kristen and Anais was absolutely seamless. There’s a list of 4 approved caterers and we loved FooxWerx. There’s ample parking at the building and also across the street. The location is also super convenient for guests coming from Philly and from NJ. Would definitely use this venue again in the future!

IF I could give half of a star, I would. I recently attended a wedding at the camden county boathouse. The actual boathouse was beautiful. Foodwerx was the caterer and they were TERRIBLE.... The food was packed up before all of the wedding guests were able to get into the buffet line. I found myself being the one to tell tables on our side of the room that it was time for them to go get something to eat. (It's a good thing I did or else they would not have gotten anything to eat) Wedding Cake.... the majority of the guests didnt even see wedding cake. Desserts weren't served.We were told the cake was packed up for the "after party" that didn't exist. Roxanne was the queen of disappearing. ROXANNE WAS TERRIBLE. She was rude, unorganized and was not approachable. As an immediate family member of the grooms family, she was not very welcoming when she was approached by me and other members of the family. Any time I would approach her with questions as I was the mother of a child who was in the wedding, she would rush me away and was very sarcastic and not nice. I feel like there is not enough time in the day to explain how awful she was. This is not her calling. She is not good at her job. She rushed us away and was full of empty promises. She would only say what we wanted to hear and then not make good on what she said she was going to do.Roxanne argued with the brides parents in front of the whole bridal party before they were introduced to all of the guests. (Very uncomfortable to witness that in front of children) She was supposed to order champagne glasses as the brides father purchased champagne for a champagne toast. She stated to both the bride's mother and father that " I WOULD KNOW IF THERE WAS CHAMPAGNE BECAUSE I WAS THE ONE TO ORDER THE GLASSED AND THERE ARE NO CHAMPAGNE GLASSES".I also would like to say that there were handicapped guests that she did not assist with special accommodations for them even after it was requested. I requested assistance to her directly multiple times just to have her disappear. I was the one who had to assist the handicapped guests as she was not helpful to them AT ALL!!! Not impressed and I WOULD NOT HIRE ROXANNE AGAIN! I feel sorry for the people who have to work for her!!! If you are looking for a caterer with a awesome wedding coordinator.. you should keep looking because ROXANNE with FOODWERX ISN'T IT!!!

We had our wedding here this past Saturday and it was absolutely stunning! The staff was extremely kind and accommodating, the preferred vendors were incredible, and our guests cannot stop raving about what a good time they had! We are so glad we chose the boathouse for our wedding!

Never again. They don’t tell you on the website but it’s $200/DAY to row there, regardless your program is 100 athletes or 2! Even if you go there just to paddle in a canoe! It doesn’t matter where you put in, they will charge you. And this is public park!If you want to stay local, the Schuylkill is free, and if you don’t mind the drive, so is Mercer county park.

GET MARRIED HERE!!!! we got married here on Friday and I don't have a single negative thing to say. Ignore old reviews because the boathouse is newly renovated. The layout is perfect and modern. The views from the wrap around deck were gorgeous and created a space for guests who did not want to dance to go and chat. The back drop for photos during the ceremony was to die for. Just perfect! And so affordable compared to other venues we looked at that didn't even compare to the boathouse's beauty! The venue comes with hedge walls included for a photo back drop and a huge bridal suite. You also provide your own alcohol which is a huge cost saver. We got tonsssss of compliments of people telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to.

I have worked here doing catering. We travel to many different buildings but this one is my favorite. There is a nice energy and vibe to it. I have seen this place at day time and night time and all different seasons for all kinds of events and I just love it here. The view of the water is calming and the structure of the building is nice and easy to navigate plus the main room is gorgeous with all the big windows over looking the water. I'm pregnant now but I can't wait to get back to work and visit this site again.

This place is only nice for the pictures ONLY, we had my daughter's venue here Oct 22, 2022, 40 guests, Andreotti's Caterer, the guest did say food was good however presentation horrible, I wouldn't recommend the $500 sundae bar, plastic everything and extra charge for anything glass such as cups for drinks and silverware, I was surprised the plates weren't plastic for dinner. Food tasted good however presentation HORRIBLE, no salad plates we had to put salad on dinner plates with hot food. We also had ceremony there, at 3, they wanted us out by 6 what a joke, who has a ceremony, pictures, dinner and dancing in 3 hrs at $140.00 per person and that's just for caterer (without alcohol) we had to buy ALL the alcohol, and that's just for caterer, the venue was an additional $1,800, keep doing the math. Cocktail hour meat and cheese presentation was a joke, not like what they picture. We even had a wedding planner. Needless to say, my daughter was not happy and took guests back to her house to continue festivities. They locked the doors on us at 6:45 and we stood outside with my grandkids for our rides, staff were peeling out of parking lot at 6:30. Oh, and catering staff dumped all beer bottles into another trash can just inches away from my 3 year old grandson and glass was shattering everywhere, I had to quickly grab him away while they did this in the middle of hall way in front of elevator where people were being forced to leave, cracked glass on floor everywhere. NIGHTMARE on Cooper River for sure. I don't recommend this place for a venue.

This is a really nice venue, not too big, not too small, right on the river, without looking into Camden's traffic! The layout inside is very comfortable, the bathrooms are spotless, the employees are very kind! The wedding coordinator Roxanne is a pure joy to work with, her professionalism and demeanour are truly wonderful!
