On a Friday morning at 10:09 only one register open. I told Customer Service and the guy just nodded at me. Lots of employees walking around. Can't one open up?

I've been a customer of this Shoprite for over 30 years. Overall,I think the prices and choices are good and the employees are friendly. Recently I've noticed that the aisles are frequently cluttered with abandoned boxes of half emptied stocking items, making the narrow aisles harder to navigate. There's also so much trash in the surrounding lawn area and in the parking lot, making the whole approach to store unappealing. Seems as though a regularly scheduled outdoor cleanup wouldn't be too hard to arrange. There's a trash strewn bus stop in the front of the property, where customers and employees sometimes wait that is pretty sad, too. No bench,or covered waiting area (probably a NJTRANSIT responsibility),but dismal, all the same. A little bit of sprucing up would go a long way to enhance the shopping experience.

This ShopRite is really only worth going to if there's an excellent deal on something you need. The layout of the store is terribly inefficient and awkward. The quality of many products isn't great; they are going for economical over quality, which I can understand, but it's possible to have both. Some of the staff are friendly; others will roll their eyes at you and avoid being helpful.

This place is a first class S*** hole. Absolutely disgusting, rude employees. They never have things in stock and when they do they're close to expired. I can't even believe this place is open. Lines to the back isles. Today i was in line for over 10 minutes and they closed the line. There were two lines open and they all had lines nearly to the back of the store.

Pay attention to the reviews in this section-they have mixed the Shoprite Liquor store reviews (not so good) with the Shoprite grocery store ads. The Shoprite is easily the least expensive grocery store in the immediate area, has wonderful fish, and employees-but often not manager-of-the-day, are very helpful. The produce is also very good. The place to go unless you want to pay 30%+ more at the Pennington Market or Stop-and-Shop.

Since before 2002, we have been as a family, mainly my Dad, who at 93 is near the end, he finally approves of someone I date, but he might be there when we finally tie the knot. All my friends saw their sons marry, I have stayed in this area for him, but now as he nears the end, he said," Live, take her wherever she wants to go, with my blessing, and I am sorry I cost you, no name! He went in, looks at price, but loves quality, quantity, freshness, and A1 products! Being a chef for 63 years, since 1948 I knew what was what, beginning at Princeton Inn, the rest I don't feel like naming! Your produce guy always told him by look, yea and nay, the fish guy, knew how to say, try a few days later, you have fresh fish to make flounder italienne, fresh Tyson, Natural or Perdue Chicken to make spezzatini, ricotta to make lasagna, zucchini to make provincial, and marble cake to make, Italian Love Cake, keep it up, thank you, especially when I had to leave him to pick a up a niece at the nearby Presbyterian preschool, she thought cough mints was candy!!!! LOL

Take your business elsewhere!! My mother tried to use the ShopRite in Pennington's liquor to supply the alcohol for a wedding reception party she is throwing for me and my new husband and this location was recommended. The contact she was given, Joe, who she worked with, was extremely unresponsive via email and phone. When she called him (every time she called him, she said she had to follow-up many times), he forgot who she was and kept telling her to email him, even though she already emailed him many times as well. Then, the worst part of it all, it is two weeks until our event, and my mother gets an email from Joe that he cannot take this party on for us! Even though they have sent us quotes and worked with us for three weeks! Two weeks before a party, my mother is forced to start from scratch! This establishment and Joe in particular, it is obvious are overworked and extremley disorganized. I would be hesistant before working with this establishment for parties as the liquor supplier! Look elsewhere....

Even though it's out of the way, we would go to this shoprite all the time. No more. EVERY WEEK you get accosted going into and out of the building. And sometimes even INSIDE. Stop hitting people up for money. If it was for a decent cause once in a while, that would be fine. But this goes on non stop every week. And the "causes" are ridiculous. Last week was for some half wit karate exhibition. Shoprite Pennington must be getting a nice cut on all these phony "charities" to be allowing these people to be constantly clinging to your cart. Stop the insanity and I'll consider spending my money here again. Til then...smell ya later.

Terrible store, the place only stays afloat by getting grocery store customers who have already passed the buy rite at the circle. Howard stern look alike cashier, has no idea how to read or count. Takes a while to notice but once you do its difficult to get past. Alot of time can be wasted simple by dealing with that, Go anywhere else!!

This is the closest location to the office, so I'm in here a fair amount to pick little things up here and there. I like the prices that Shop Rite sets when things are on promotion, so I'll usually opt here instead of Stop & Shop, which is a little bit closer. Checkout can be slow here, though it may be affected by the times I go (usually during the day). Selection and prices aren't bad, though
