I had a horrible experience with The Workout Gym! Earlier this year, I enrolled my son into their boxing program and in the beginning, it was good. I even got several other parents to enroll their children. After several months, the instructor quit and the level of instruction suffered. I unenrolled my son in June 2021 and was told by the woman owner (there's a woman and man owner, his name is Daryl) that I needed to come in and fill out paperwork to cancel the reoccurring credit card payments. When I arrived, she made me aware that their policy is to charge an additional 30 days which meant I would be charged for July 2021. When I received yet another charge for August 2021, I called and spoke with the man owner, Daryl. He said that he tried to call me after I cancelled to ask me some questions and because I didn't call him back, my cancellation was void- so they continue to charge me. I was floored! I am now having to go to my bank to report this as a fraudulent charge and get a new debit card to stop the erroneous charges. I will also be reporting them to our local Chamber of Commerce and the BBB. This was horrible!
