Never buy any appliances from Home Depot, especially if the install it!! Bought washer/dryer 2 wks ago& the 1st team that delivered & installed broke the gas pipe in to the wall. we had a gas leak that is dangerous in the house!! they sent out their "emergency team" DAYS later, & that team broke our water heater looking for the gas outlet!! we now have no hot water!! after sending pictures of the damage & paying plumber, which he couldn't fix the damage, my case is still in review!! they want us to wait a week to see IF approved!! with Christmas coming, & kids coming home, we can't even shower in warm water!! this is ridiculous! wish I knew how incompetent they were from other peoples experience with them it's turned out to be a mess!!!

The most inconsiderate unprofessional disorganized Home Depot in the tri-state area. No one wants to help everyone is troubled when you ask a question parking lot is made him stay away from this location especially if you're a contractor.

I have horrible experience today. The manager of this particular store, name Christian is discriminating and conduct unfair act towards me, as a customer. I am a long time home depot customers and never been treated this way. I was there today saw a bathroom cabinet vanity set on the display says 50% off for the display set. There are dents and scratches on the display vanity. I decided to get it anyway since it's 50% off sticker. When I got to the cashier, no one know how to ring it up for the display discount. Then I was sent to the customer service desk, multiple cashiers there tried to ring up and the computer won't allow them to take the 50% off. They called and paged the manager, Christian for many times. He said he is coming soon. We waited more than 30 minutes. Still no managers come or call back to help the cashiers. I went to another cashier desk and ask them to page the manager again. After 15 minutes standing around, this manager finally decided to show up. Again, his name is Christian. He is not even apologetic for the 45 mins wait that me and my husband went through. He is trying to ring up the display and doing exactly what the other cashiers are doing and he couldn't figure out how to get the 50% off. After another 15 mins, he called a cashier (name Keisha) from the self check out area and after she instructed him what to do, he was able to ring it up with the discount. We paid and about to walk out. Then, he told us you can't go, we have to remove the faucet. We were shocked of what he said. We told him, your sign says display 50% off, nothing says faucet is not included. He said it doesn't matter, this faucet is over $100 so they have to remove it. Firstly, the faucet is already installed, so is old. It has no box. It is definitely not $100 as he stated. Secondly, if you want to remove the faucet at the first place, why made us wait for over a hour and wait until we already paid. We waited over 1 hour at this store for the cashiers to figure out how to ring up this vanity display. Not only no one care we waited for that long, now you even false advertising. He forced us to remove the faucet that we paid for. Who runs this store? Why is this Christian even hired as manager? He is here playing games with us or discriminating towards minority customers. We are frustrated on the lack of professionalism, unfairness and false advertisement. We did not want the item anymore. After couple hours later, we went back to the same store. Guess what? The same vanity display was there with the faucet still on. The employee said someone else's name is on it so they purchased it. The employee quickly rolled the vanity to the back room after they noticed I saw it. They are trying to hide the fact that they decided to sell to someone else included the faucet on but will not sell to me with the faucet on. This is completely unacceptable to have discrimination against certain customers. Whoever running this store needs to get your act together watch over this so called manager, Christian. Who refused to sell us the display as advertised but selling to someone else. It was very disappointing. As a customer, you want to get a deal. When you do get a deal as advertised. Some manager came out says no, you can't have it. Then turn around, selling to someone else. This is completely unprofessional and injustice. I am reporting this manager, Christian to Home Depot corporate. The unfair treatment that I got today was humiliating and wasted my whole day. This store manager showing signs of discriminating should be reported to the U.S. dept of labor. I attached the picture of the evidence that they are reserving this display with the faucet on to another customer as per the home depot employee that I asked. The same employee who rolled this item and hided in the back room. I hope home depot do something regarding this manager that are discriminating towards customers.

This store is awful. Aside from being filthy and disorganized, the customer service-- if you could call it that -- is nonexistent. Don't ask for help because you might get yelled at. No way to run a store.

THIS STORE DOESNT EVEN DESERVE A STAR! but because they deal with poor minorities and poor immigrants so many customers are scared to speak up to the authorities well this store is ALWAYS FILTHY POORLY MAINTAINED And although the employees are mostly kind and nice they are not helpful at all!!! the store is always dangerous with hazards every where and check out is harder then TSA CUSTOMS IN NEWARK AIRPORT MOST BIG BOX STORES ARE USING SELF CHECK OUT WHICH SUCKS ASSHOLE!!! please if you are unhappy step up say something i go to Totowa store and that one sucks as well if you don't open your mouth you will never be heard!!!!

I had a bad shopping experience in appliances. I want to buy a new dryer this guy only put for the electric cord and a dryer no tubing to go with the dryer or Installation I request all these thing to be done he did it wrong. I will not go to this Home Depot he need to learn how to do his job Correctly. Then he start to discuss my information about the dryer in front of the customer in front of him taking there order. Need to learn customer service worst shopping experience ever stay away from appliance area rude employee working there.

If I could give zero stars I would. This establishment in general is a disgrace. Nothing but rude unhelpful people. Store is dirty/cluttered. They are a bunch of Crooks. Their appliances are never in working order when purchased and they charge you for protection plan/warranty then claim it was never purchased. You call or contact the customer care, corporate headquarters and Nothing but lies, headaches and make you wastes hours of your time trying to solve the issues. Will not to business with them again.

I always find what I'm looking for at this Home Depot. If I can't find something using the app, everyone I've ever spoken to at this location has been friendly and knowledgeable. I'm so glad this store is only 4 minutes from my house!

Honestly, a great experience. Aisel in appliances helped me order the appliances I needed for my new home and thoroughly explained everything to me. She was truly so sweet :)

Was returning a Rug Doctor. The two ladies who rented it to me and sold me the solution yeasterday were very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Today, however ... There was a woman in line ahead of me. The man at the counter asked if I was returning the Rug Doctor. I said yes. The woman said she was there before me. I said "I know, he asked me a question, I answered," end of story right? Of course not - this is New Jersey. Another man walked up, got in my face, and started threatening me for talking to his wife like that. I didn't put him in the hospital like he deserved. Calling me all kinds of bigoted names I won't repeat here. If it was just typical New Jersey lacking a backup plan for when their bully act fails, I'd have no complaint about Home Depot. But the guy at the counter kept telling me to calm down and had no priblem with these two starting s@$t or any of the pointless insults they hurled at me. You just lost a 25 year customer.

Absolute awful experience ordering cabinets. Original order was placed and were promised to be able to pick up cabinets in 48 hours. We called to find out if we could pick up the cabinets and they said they weren't in the store yet. Waiting for over a week, every time we called we got "maybe the order is delayed, or maybe it's in transit" NEVER a concrete answer. After two weeks we go to the store to find out that Home Depot never put our name on the order therefore, either got shipped back to the manufacturer or put on the shelf for sale. We had to cancel our order and place another. Following that time we have been back to Home Depot at least once a week now since we still do not have all the cabinets over a month later. Our last cabinet was MIA and Home Depot had to open a case on the missing cabinet. Once again, never a concrete answer. The only update we ever received was "sorry for the delay". We are told every time that someone will be getting to the bottom of the issue and no one does. We are furious with the lack of effort and communication. We should not have to drive to the store every week just to get an answer but it seems to be the only way.

Terrible customer service! Purchases 2 vanities. The vanities tops were not in stock at store where I purchased. The store members looked up location where they had. I hired a contractor to install vanities. In the morning, I went to the store where they had them in stock. The items didn't reflect clearance price. I requested to speak to store manager. Apparently, no one in customer service knows who the store manager is or when he will be in. They finally got someone that was on Duty by the name of Andrew who was condensending and just nasty. He claimed to be the ultimate decision maker. Didn't really even listen to my issue. Did not honor price and never gave me store managers info. Upon writing this review, I realized I am not alone...all the reviews to this location are negative! Do not go to this location you will be disappointed. Will send copy of complaint to Bbb and consumer affairs.

I was lazy and went to Home Depot and a crazy thing happened. I was looking for paint and this woman who said she works there came up to me and asked me if I needed help. At first, I thought I was being punk'd but then I remembered that I'm not famous and that show is off the air. She couldn't have been flirting with me, I'm dressed like a bum and I haven't shaved in days. She helped me find paint and stain specifically for the floor, she mixed paint that was for exterior window and even showed me paint specifically for cabinet and moldings, I didn't know they had paint specifically for that. She made sure I had everything I needed like brushes and masking tape. She explained the differences between the different types of paints and even made recommendations. Although Home Depot is not a 5 star type of place, I was almost going to rate them 5 stars for my experience today until... some lady started asking the lady questions while my paint was almost done mixing. She walked the lady down the isle and I got stuck waiting a long time until I went and got her and asked for her to get me my paint. My critique would be to finish with one customer before you help another. Don't do too much! A simple "I'll help you when I'm done helping him would have done the trick", a " that isle right there, I'll be there after I'm done with this gentlemen" would have been perfection. I'm going to rate the rude woman who interrupted us 0 stars, and 4 stars to the lady that was helping me.
