If you read the other comments, you'll see that Bill is a skilled mechanic & kind person. HOWEVER, if you're planning to drop off your car, you should make an appointment. If you can't reach him by phone, stop by early in the week and ask what day he might be able to work on your car. Fridays seem very busy, so I wouldn't recommend bringing your car in then. There's no guarantee on quick turnaround time, it depends on the size of the job & volume of other cars. Bill's normally a quiet guy who will treat you with respect, so if you happen to hear him raise his voice, it's probably because of the nonsense he encounters in customers. Don't be one of those rude customers--for the sake of Bill, his employees/business, and his family.

I've been bringing my cars to Bill since early 1990's. He is the best auto mechanic you will ever find. He is very knowledgeable and can troubleshoot problems many other mechanics cannot. Repairs are done correctly at a reasonable price.

Good honest service. In the greater New York area, this is a hard find. I was referred to this auto shop by my friend. The owner, Billy, it's a gem. Just a good person Who gives fair prices. He really hates service rip offs and people who think that way. That is why I am A-OK with bringing my car to this friendly Paterson yard. The car dealership evaluated my car and I left thinking it wouldn't last another day, Billy who has been in this for years, told me my car is in good enough condition to sell and gave me confidence and tips on selling it. He fixed my light for less, handles my car, and sent me to someone trusted for the cosmetic work he couldn't do. He might as well be a therapist because I'm feeling a lot better! Lol

Hi Family. MR. BOB'S!!! One of the nicest people! Straight forward. Kind. Listens when your talking. Will tell you what's wrong and give you honest solutions to the problems. YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE YOUR GETTING "SHAFTED"!!!!!!! 😥😥😲😲😵😵ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜¨ðŸ˜¨. A really nice man. Hard working, stays late to finish jobs. The crew is cool too. When you go. Do go. Tell him the "WALKERS" sent you. Rob, Marley and Sharon etc... Lol! 😄😄😄.

Bill is honest to goodness one of the best people I've had the pleasure of knowing. A top notch mechanic, on top of that his helper Tommy is one of the most skilled and ingenious mechanics around, a man with a god given gift. Go by BK Auto, these guys give Paterson a good name and show that there are still some real mechanics around!
