The older man there today 6/8/23 showed great customer service. He even helped me confirm a zip code for my shipment. I had to leave this review about him because I go to other post offices and everyone looks miserable! But, he was very nice and attentive. Thank you!

This is a much smaller postal building than the main post office in Passaic, but it has its own charm. The staff, though minimal, is very friendly and engaging, and always willing to assist anyone in need of help. The hours, however, can be a little sketchy at times, with the fact that it does close for 90 minutes during the lunch hour. All in all however, this is one pleasant experience in a sometimes irritating business.

i went a few days ago and the one guy who works their is very rude.... he seems annoyed to be working there. the way he was acting just wasn't so nice. also they randomly close from around 12-1 every day but it doesn't say it on their web so you go all the way there to find that out :( very upsetting

Closes at 11:30 until 1 for lunch. No sign of that on the website or Google. You just have to show up to see that. Another patron was there also surprised.

Honestly was a terrible experience visiting this location. I chose to have a package redirected by the USPS on their website to this location. I went to pick it up and the man working there was NASTY and rude from the second I spoke. When I said that I had a package for pickup, his answer: Why would we be holding something for you? I told him, I had my package redirected. He asks: Why? I told him because I did, I had the option online to do so. He said that's not how they work, then proceeded to condescendingly explain the mail process to me. Turns out, my package was there. He just didn't AGREE with USPS's option to have mail redirected, and their location being one such place. He admitted to this. But truly very disrespectful, no customer service skills AT ALL.

I have been using this post office for a long time. They have all of the shipping supplies needed and are always helpful in telling me which shipping options are the best for the items I need and how quickly I need to get them there.Everyone there is wonderful and extremely helpful. They are mostly understaffed, so service is slow, but everyone there tries their hardest to give me a great customer service experience.

Under staffed, only one clerk for the entire office. They are always closed it seems like they make up their own hours and never notify anyone. They also don't list that they closed from like 12-1:30 for lunch. So people with a 8-5PM this post office is not for you. Also dont bother going on your lunch break at what ever time I literally went at 11:20 two days ago and found it closed. Also, the clerk seems to be very short me when I say good morning or afternoon but I notice he is very talkative with more fair skinned ppl. Just an observation.

This place is great!!! I went in after having an issue with the one in Washington ave in Belleville nj and after reading the reviews of other post offices around my area. The clerk name Doug (or very similar name) helped me and what a delight. He definitely understands what customer service is all about. I recommend this place 100% it's sad that living in Belleville I have to go to another town to get good service! They really need to do something with the rest of post offices! Bad customer service! Theres a lot of unemployed people out there dying to get a job. Maybe your staff all around NJ has to be replaced it's disgusting! Thanks again Passaic postal office. This will be my new location 😊

A disgrace!! I live at the same address for 40 years with my name, address and my apt on the outside and on the inside of the mailbox and my mail is either on the lawn, on top of the mailbox or inside the stoop of the stairs inside the building!! The carriers should learn how to read, write and their numbers in English before becoming carriers!!!

Post office is under staffed, never more than one employee. If there is a line you know your screwed. Otherwise it's quick in an out. The staff though is very helpful and polite something you won't find at other post offices.
