Been going for years, liked their selection of goods. Travel about an hour. Today went and was told I couldn't take my shopping bag in. I had my cash, phone, and car keys in there and was told to hold them, because they no longer accept people bringing in bags. Made me so upset because I see how many people go in and out of this business and for the owners not to be able to afford better security services or cameras is upsetting. What an inconvenience to have to explain why you need to bring a bag in. I suggest going to El Mercado del 8. Staff was super friendly and no one said anything about us bringing in our shopping bags.

Delicious Mexican food in Venice. Always consistent and great service. Try the large beers...they're HUGE! Also, they make some great nachos.

They have almost everything you need from Mexico. Tecojotes during the holidays, huitlacoche in jars (they dont allow fresh huitlacoche in this country). Purple corn tortillas, cueritos, mondongo, a good produce section , the prices are reasonable
