I am not your easy to fit, or easy to please customer when it comes to finding a formal comfortable dress. Thus, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I was in and out of The Pink Orchid Shop in half an hour.
To say I was pleased is an understatement. Lara was ‘spot on’ knowing the style that looked best on me. Not in the least pressuring, rather easy going, supportive, understanding and with beautiful taste.
“Try this on, looks better than on hanger “ and in quick agreement, no pushing, “no, not for you”… the next dress suggestion, I hesitantly tried, yet, felt years younger and even, might I say ‘attractive! Even the price was attractive!
The clincher was the gown that I tried on for my granddaughter’s wedding! Oh my goodness, so pretty, just my style, so comfortable, elegant, all rolled into one! And Lara had the seamstress right there with a smile and the know how to help the small size fit on my body.
All in all , shopping there today was a positive experience! How many ppl can say that?? The dressing rooms were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, Lara was a pleasure to shop with and to guide with her expertise and flair for fashion.
My daughter only shops at Pink Orchid. I after todays’ experience, I understand why she does!

Their selection is exquisite. And, they perform magic with any alterations that are required. I seriously don't know how they are able to make things fit, that I never would imagine could fit. And they make it look as if nothing was done to it. MAGIC!! And such a pleasure to work with

I came in for fabulous clothes for a weekend affair - Friday night dinner, Shabbat Shul, and less fancy afternoon dress too. They had everything I needed in one place. The staff was helpful, kept bringing me more options and giving targeted feedback as I tried them on - it’s like shopping with a good friend. And the excellent on-site tailor made my choices fit perfectly, ready for next day pickup. Win win win!

I have bought both gowns and dresses for family weddings and special occasions as well as clothing for every day. The staff is friendly and helpful and honest about how something looks on you. There is a seamstress on the premises who will do any alterations necessary at a reasonable cost and sometimes right on the spot. You walk out with a perfectly fitting outfit and a great experience!
