Used the service to move my things from Dubai to NY, excellent work. All items arrived in great condition , team did amazing work wrapping each item carefully in paper. I had a lot of fragile items and all arrived safe. Professional attitude from the first step till the end, great follow up from the team side( I was not very responsible in filling up export forms) to clear all documents and customs.

Happy - Disappointed/Stressed - HAPPY
This is the long review but please make sure you read it as I have given all the pros and cons of the service. How Happy turned into Disappointment
I used thier service to get the custom dining table which was 9 ft by 4ft big. The priya from Chennai offcie hleped to get good estimate and with all my questions. It took while for finalizing all the things as the contract which we need to sign before the shiopment hand over was little confusing with lot of unclear clause. Priya helped me to understand take out unneccesary clauses out.
The real issue started when the order came to NJ. The contract I had signed was supposed to be for door to door service from Mumbai to Long Island NY. The person from NJ office was kept comaplaining that the order is ver heavy and I need to pay $750 extra to recive the door service. That person said its so heavy they need to hire another service and all. I kept in touch with Priya and she was able to convince the NJ office maanger to ship my stuff. Finally my stuff came up to my doors and see who delivered the stuff UNIVERSAL RELOCATIONS truck. Guys who came to drop the stuff off didnt complain aboout the weight of the shipment or anythings. My guess this manager from NJ office was just trying get extra money from me as they know we dont have any optiuion but pay to get the stuff we got from India. But Priya was so helpful in this whole process.
If you are using the service make sure the size and weight of your shipment is inside the contract and you communicate the weight and size in all emails. Thats what saved me $750.

I chose Universal Relocations to ship my used stuffs from US to India. Richard, Sai and their team was very helpful in shipping the packages without any hassles. Special thanks to Thiagu for coordinating and arranging the package delivery with prior notice.

I moved from Doha, Qatar to Pensacola, Florida USA. At first I was a little suspicious of all shipping companies in Qatar, "Universal Relocations" included. This company really did a good job. My shipping took longer to arrive than expected but I got everything and Mohammed and his team did great. I was worried something bad was going to happen with customs or tracking once my shipment got to the USA but the company assured me that everything was ok and provided me information. Everything was packed well. They made a special box to ship a painting that I wanted to take with me and it worked out well. They were the cheapest quote I could find and I was not disappointed. Thank you team in Doha!

these people are thieves our all expensive item are lost they never pickup the call not even their insurance person ill rather give them ZERO rating unfortunately one star is the minimum rating

An International move that went bad. They packed my two bicycles in front of me, loaded them into their truck and never arrived at final destination. They stated that because it was not annotated in the manifest they were not responsible for it. While I explained to their service center what occurred and that it was their responsibility to annotate the bikes in the manifest before loading them into the their truck, they never reimbursed me for the "apparent" loss of my bikes. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are only good at sending payment reminders.

I stored my NJ house contents with them they forced me to a vey expensive insurance company at the end they delivered it after one year to Florida as requested but unfortunately broken bed broken pool table din-at bench broken my expensive mattresses dirty black actually many things were scratched and now I’m getting nothing from this insuranceStay away I regret it

CHOOSE ANOTHER MOVER!
Universal Relocations took possession of our container of personal belongings on September 12th, 2022, from Entry Port 4601 in Newark New Jersey, which had been shipped from Dubai in July of 2022.
On September 26th, I received an email from UR, which stated that the shipment had arrived in the New Jersey warehouse and was awaiting routing to Washington. On October 8th, Vinay R. wrote back the following: "Your Shipment Was Loaded for CA warehouse from NJ."
On November 4th, in an email with the subject line, "RE: An Explanation Is Required", I expressed my frustration over the lack of transparency over what had happened to the shipment of our belongings.
On November 9th, Mr Shabaz, the Move Manager from UR in your New Jersey offices, wrote the following: "Please note that the shipment is at our New Jersey warehouse after clearance at NY. This will need to be transferred from New Jersey to our Fremont- CA warehouse after which a truck will be scheduled for final delivery to WA. Being a groupage container, the deliveries need to be consolidated to respective branches with us and then loaded in trucks for the final delivery. We will need a few days to plan and deliver the shipment. "
Is this a company that you would do business with?
UR then told me that they planned and scheduled to load my shipment from NJ - CA in Oct and made the necessary entries in their system which showed shipment transferred from NJ. In actuality, the shipment actually did not fit in the truck and the warehouse did not load it into the trailer bound to CA, but their team forgot to update their system and as such the shipment kept showing transferred when it really wasn't.
On November 18th, I also sent an email where I asked Universal Relocations to consider an appropriate form of compensation for the long delay in delivery of our shipment due to the lack of adequate tracking used for our shipment. I was told that Universal Relocations and I were not legally bound by contract and that I should contact DTD.
On November 30th, our shipment finally arrived in Bellevue, Washington, where it was discovered and noted that "Box" 008 was missing. This was an Iranian carpet made of wool that had silk highlights that we had purchased in Dubai in 2000 for around $1000 US dollars. I noted the missing carpet on the form the delivery person, Jose, asked me to sign.
Universal Relocation now insists that they never received our carpet in the shipment from Dubai, that it was never loaded into the container. However, the bill of lading from the New Jersey customs office shows that the company signed off on the form saying 31 boxes had been received.
As I said at the beginning, choose another mover - this company is not transparent in its communications and is, at best, incompetent in being able to track your belongings.

It was our 1st experience of shipment from Dubai to the US. Service at both Dubai & in the US was excellent. Rates were very competitive. Crew at the final destination was very Cooperative.

Delivery was done without damage and the handling was good. NO ISSUE WITH SHIPPING QUALITY. But would have given all stars if the transition time would have been done in lesser time.. expected time was 3 months but ended up getting it around 5 months and had to do multiple followup from my end..
