This review is mainly based on their ATM which for the last 2/3 months has not been fully functional (unable to accept cash) and is unfortunately the only one on site. I have gone about 4/5 times now to deposit cash only to have the machine spit back my cash with a message on the screen saying something to the likes of "deposited cash could not be processed." A week ago, I went into the branch and was advised that yes, they are aware of the issue they've reached out to Deloid who is their third party for ATM maintenance, but haven't been able to get someone out to fix the machine. One would think that considering most people work banking business hours, this branch would prioritize not having a fully functional ATM for customers who need to conduct their banking needs outside normal business hours. When I reach out to their customer service, I'm told that I'd need to go to a different branch to deposit my cash. The reason I opened an account at this location is because it's very close to where I live. I have had the displeasure of having to drive 25 minutes out of my way to be able to deposit cash several times. If this was a one time occurrence of the ATM being down it's understandable and reasonable. However, this has been an ongoing issue for months. Don't bank here if you intend on utilizing the ATM services.

Jen and her team at M&T Parsippany are the best! I was able to refinance my home mortgage for a lower rate and shorter term through M&T, saving me thousands. I’m also in the process of purchasing a business and the commercial building it’s in and M&T is working with the SBA to get the financing lined up for these purchases. I can’t speak highly enough about how personable and dedicated the M&T team is, they really work for you to solve all your banking issues.

For my business and personal accounts, M&T Bank is second to none. Jen Peel, Dina Cullen and the rest of the team have been fantastic for me and many of my area clients for several years now. Big bank services with a local feel. Cannot do better than that.

Deposit in ATM money was taken and error receipt given to me.It never posted to my account.Bank told me I had to wait 10 days to resolve dispute.I asked her to check the ATM and she wouldn’t.I asked for a provisional credit till the dispute was resolved.They said they would give me one that day.I didn’t get it.Worst bank ever.

Jen Peel has been a bright spot during these darker times of Covid. As an account, I’ve helped countless clients navigate the PPP and SBA loans. Jen has been 1000% better than any of the bigger banks I’ve delt with! She makes herself available, answers questions, and has been incredibly responsive to any of my inquiries. Banking was always something I did because I had to but owning a business added another layer to my banking. Then the pandemic hit and I didn’t realize how much help I would need to navigate the plethora of paperwork to apply for the PPP. My other local bank which I have been banking with for a long time did not help me. However Jennifer Peel and Randy Morgan were there to help me not because I was a customer (yet) but because they wanted to help a business networking friend. They are the definition of true banking professionals who truly care. After Jen helped me navigate my own bank and helped me to ask the right questions. I decided to make a switch to M&T. I dislike the banking industry because it seems cold unless the client has millions, the people always change and it’s hard to develop business relationships. I love feeling like I matter even though I don’t have millions (yet). When I call I get an answer. When I email I get a reply. Kindness. Honesty. Relationships. It matters.

The branch manager, Jen, could not be more professional or delightful to work with. Recently, she helped me open a credit card for my business. When I received it, I had trouble activating it. I sent her a text on a Sunday evening, fully expecting a response the next business day. To my surprise and delight, she replied within ten minutes ON A SUNDAY!! Service above and beyond. Highly recommend M&T bank, and particularly branch manager extraordinaire, Jen.
