We recommend this location to everyone!Safe location, quality service, clean, all you can eat breakfast was very good (nice fresh fruit, homemade oatmeal, veggie omelet, tortillas, cereals, muffins, bagels, etc), & I don't know if all the rooms were big like ours but it was so very spacious! We were not disappointed with anything. We had everything we needed and were SATISFIED in every way. Next time we come back, we will stay here! Thank you Sonesta ES Suites!

I wish my rating for this Sonesta could have been better, however, my experience at this location was like nothing I have ever seen before. I booked a two bedroom suite and never passed the front desk. Please understand due to covid I haven't reserved any rooms in the pass few years so my understanding of hotel policies is rusty, although I have booked rooms with Sonesta and had no problems ever. Nevertheless, to my understanding the front desk attendant is there to assist. So, upon arrival I saw a sign which stated the deposit fee is $250, this confused me immediately since my reservation stated that hotel policy requires $100. When I asked the attendant about the difference, she rolled her eyes and said that's the policy and I can't do anything about it. I immediately can tell she was aggravated with my question. However I brushed it off, and just continued with check in. The attendant then continued to charge me the deposit. When I checked my account I saw that I was being charge twice. The charges were $250 deposit and an additional charge for $250 declined. My bank flagged the transaction, so I asked her why were there two charges and not one total charged. That must've pushed the wrong button because as soon as I asked, she went off, stating if you don't like it then she can cancel your room right now and I can leave. I stepped back and tried to diffuse the situation because I still don't have a room key and it was my daughter's birthday. I explained that it wasn't a problem, I just need to understand what was going on. She said well I'm just going to cancel your room because I shouldn't have to explain anything you should've read your reservation. Now normally, her short attitude would have took me over the edge, but its my daughter's birthday and I just want her to have a good time. I asked for a manager, but according to her, she was the only one there so I continued to attempt to diffuse the situation and I say to her, I am the guest and as the front desk attendant I am asking you to explain the hotel policies as my reservation is not the same as what is being charged. She said that's it you just won't have a room since you have a problem. I called my travel agent, since she is more knowledgable about the way hotel policies and she advised me to get in touch with the general manager or coorporate office. After circling the conversation with the attendant she refused to proceed. I couldn't believe it especially since I was already charged and she also refused to cancel my reservation so I can get a refund. This ordeal ended with me calling corporate and the local police to get a refund. To top it off corporate couldnt change my reservation to a different location so my daughter's birthday was in shambles. My experience with sonesta has never been like this and I advocate for all my friends to use the hotel since their suites and customer service are normally top notch. As a travel member Sonesta - Parsippany Troy Hills has really failed to meet the level of excellence that Sonesta thrives for and I will not be returning to this location ever.

This is the second time stay in this location both times had some sort of problem. Not only they gave us the wrong room they are still charge us for the room even though we left a week ago and left the whole room spotless. I was always brought up to keep everything clean maid sure to keep all the towels in the bathroom in a nice pile and the sheet, washed all the dishes,wiped everything down, sweeped and made sure to take all the trash to the dumpster still they are charging . We will never stay her again. I have stayed in many places before but can officially say this is one of the worse.

Very pleasant staff. Very clean. Loved having the ability to cook in my room and have guests come visit to save me driving all around. Also loved the fireplace area outside and the breakfast!

Gave me smaller room which I did not book because they felt it better suited me. Called them out and they fixed it.Update and response to owner. You did not put me in a bigger room, that is a lie. You put me in a smaller room without a couch, instead there were 2 folding chairs. Your staff stated since I was by myself they assumed I did not need a couch. Please do not lie to make me look stupid like I cannot tell the difference between 2 bedrooms and 1.

The entire team in the hotel was very friendly and supportive. They made my stay to feel like home. Right from manager(Alex), friendly staffs in reception(Alan, Tat, other two persons), The smiling person who provides our breakfast daily, the room service team made my 2 months stay fantastic one. One recommendation in breakfast - They can provide hot breakfast, atleast the omlette can be given hot. But still Grab and Go breakfast was very good. Thank you Team.

Stayed here for a business trip and was very happy with my stay. The rooms are very spacious and have a small kitchen to cook if you want to. There is an outdoor area to sit and relax or eat even have a bbq. They serve breakfast daily for free and it was usually a mix of eggs, potatoes and some kind of meat like sausage, also have cereal and pastries and pancakes. The tv in the room was easy to use and had numerous channels available. There is plenty of parking on all sides of the hotel and the hotel is conveniently located to many restaurants.

Big thank you to Tatiana and Esperanza for being so kind and helpful! I stayed here for a mini staycation, just to get away for a bit and relax. We had an ant issue in our room but were promptly moved to a nicer room the next day when I brought it to their attention.Pros: all suite rooms, pool, breakfast, basketball court, fire pit, pet friendly, great location, beautifully landscaped.Cons: hot tub was closed, no notice on website.Daily parking fee, I think one car per booked room should be included in the price.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was welcoming and kind. They had a fair amount of choices for their breakfast. This location is much nicer than the one across I-10.

My friends and I stayed there for the weekend for my friends birthday and I was very disappointed. The room was beautiful so they get points for that but, the service was not good. First when we got there to check in and pay the security deposit it was 250$. But what I called and asked I was told 150$. Which I think is extremely crazy because the room is not worth the extra 250$. Also the entire time we where there no one came and knocked on the door to see if we need the room cleaned and or if we needed fresh towels or anything. We spent a lot of time outside the room and no one came in to try and freshen up the room. When we did call to get some one to clean the room while we were gone the lady had an attitude and told me that house keeping was leaving for the day. I then had to ask for fresh towels and rags and a broom. Then when we were packing up to leave the cleaning guy just bust in the room without knocking and wanted to clean but didn’t come try to clean the room all weekend. Then he didn’t understand English so when were trying to tell him to leave he’s look at us like where crazy. Over all my experience was a 5/10 I will not be back.

We booked this hotel for the pool specifically, as my eldest teen had an event nearby, and we brought the whole family (other kids). I called before arriving, as I booked through Priceline, and I wanted to check everything was ok with reservation/facility. I was told all was ok, by the gentleman running the desk that evening. Upon arrival, the pool was indeed closed for the whole weekend. I was given 2 different stories of why and told they closed it that morning before I actually called. So, this now had me speculate that they closed the pool due to the New Year's Eve holiday and not because something just happened that morning. They didn't want an abundance of people using the pool, but it is quite unfair to those with families, and those that paid much higher prices during the holiday. Then, at 2:30 am someone was trying to get into our room and wouldn't leave the door. We called the front desk and they had to escort the man away. Then, he came back again 9am, trying to get in again! My youngest son was terrified and the whole hotel experience was a disaster. We didn't even want to have the breakfast there. We waited for my eldest, and wanted to just get out of there. Staff smiles and apologizes to your face, but does nothing to help rectify the situation. They said I had to speak to Priceline. I spoke to Priceline and they couldn't even get the hotel to budge on any compensation. The hotel just wanted to offer me a coupon for a measly discount and I have to book directly with them again! Never, would I go back. I, then, called the next day again to speak to the Assistant Manager Francis, this time. He said he would talk to all the staff and get back to me right away. He never did, which I knew he wouldn't. So, now I will escalate this further with corporate and my credit card company. Horrible situation and robbing people of their money in the process. Stay away from this hotel. Rooms aren't even that clean. I will stick with Hilton.

The rooms are very good and clean, we have free breakfast for all guests and have a gym inside.The cot is very small and we can't go with 2 kids else we have to for an option of suite rooms.

Fireplace in my 1br Queen Suite is cozy on chilly nights. Staff are fantastic! Laundry could be more accessible. Grab and go breakfast; would be helpful if it was served a bit earlier, but nice they provide it. Pool and whirlpool are closed still.
