Unprofessional, unresponsive, incompetent to say the least. I've been working with a "claims specialist" for the past 5 months and still no resolution. The amount of time and people that NJM has involved to come to a solution (NJM claims specialist, her backup, IaNet, IaNets 3rd party, someone from the social media team, and more) is embarrassing. From providing an estimate in Mitchell format when asked repeatedly for CCC, to ignoring me completely until I reached out to the social media account, to the backup doing more than the assigned person in 5 months. Let's see how much longer this will take to resolve.More to come.

I have insured my car, home and rental properties through NJM for over 17 years. Over the years the premiums have increased but I stayed loyal trusting them with my insurance needs. Recently when I filed my first claim for my primary residence due to a leak they only paid me for labor and no materials asking me to reuse items more than 10 years old. I went through their appeals process and same result. I thought they were a private company not chasing profits but I guess they are too busy filling their own pockets instead. I will be shopping next renewal cycle for sure. Buyer beware!

I had a decent experience with a NJ auto policy years back so I figured I would try working with them again. Very unhappy with their service at this point. I will not be using them again.

NJM offered an excellent entry price and then 18 days later, after I switched all my insurance over to them, they said I had to change my driver's license to New Jersey. So even though my cars are in New Jersey, I can't have homes or license in another state. I don't like tricks and suspect that they are dishonest or ar least incompetent. I won't do business with trickster companies. So I went back to Progressive after just 18 days and ended up paying more than before I canceled. Thanks, NJM, for the hassle and the extra cost I had to pay to go back to my old company. I hope this saves others from making the same mistake.

I had a accident the other driver stopped in the middle of the road I tapped her she had no damage My front end was damaged NJM wanted to total my car and said that I could keep the car what would I do with a car I wouldn't be able to register and insure again . Especially when the body shop said it could be fixed. Insurance person wasnt there one person didnt know what the other claims adjuster was doing I had to insist on keeping my car because it wa worth more than my adjuster said it was worth $12.000 but the person that took his place while he was on vacation said it was worth $9000 my insurance went from 2200 anually to 3800 they told me it had to stay that way for 6 years motor vehical takes it off in 3 years,So why are they are making me pay what they paid that's what we have insurance for and pay all this money for in the first place. I was also told by NJM the government made changes that allow this so the government take the help away inflation is crazy and what we have left has to go to the insurance company I went from paying $200 a month to $400 if I knew that it would go up but if I knew they would charge me this much I could have paid to fix my car myself plus tried to contact the adjuster because I had issues with the body shop that was on their list people seemed nice but now things falling off my car left messages for claims adjuster never called me back from March until now

NJM not only refused my claim, in doing so they ignored my email and voicemail so many times, i was forced to contact a “supervisor”. Upon finally tracking down a supervisor, i was told to continue to produce further and further information, clearly sending me on a wild goose chase….. to which again they denied their responsibility. My experience with NJM has been AWFUL!!! If I were you, I’d hire someone else for my insurance needs. 100%

I file a claim against with NJM (due to their customer crossing a 2 lane hit my rear car) The lady that handle the claim wanted for me to take the blame for something I didn’t do VERY VERY RUDE the worst & her Supervisor! I have to pay to fix damage on my car over a lady that don’t know how to drive!! We pay the consequences over ignorance! I have car & home insurance thru NJM over 7 years!! I BE MOVING ON TO A BETTER INSURANCE! ?

Don’t get this insurance it’s the worse they quote you one price then bill you another I have a flawless driving record but still paying the highest price ever they don’t give no discounts at all I regret getting this insurance if they had zero for stars that’s what they would get a ZERO!!

I was a GEICO customer for years and years with state minimum coverage. At first my premiums were what I thought to be reasonable. A few years ago I got into a minor fender bender with someone else(we backed up into each other in a parking lot) for my next billing cycle my insurance went up considerably (about 35%). GEICO sent it's customers an email detailing how they've applied for a double digit rate increase and that sent me looking for a new company. NJM came in at close to 60% cheaper than GEICO. My bill will literally be less than half of what it was with GEICO. I am ecstatic!! Thank you so much!!

IMy family have been with NJM for years. I bundled our home and cars and the premium was a lot better with other insurance not until lately. Our premium skyrocketed that their explanation can’t justify considering previous years circumstances . Also I filed a claim which I incurred for paying a claimant which a court ruled in favor of the other party. The accident was not our fault as ruled out by NJM but the other party went to court and judge favored him. The adjuster assigned to my case told me that NJM cannot help with. This is really disgusting. I think it’s time to look for a better insurance this time. NJM is not the same NJM.

NJM has been my go to since I started driving many years ago - only received 4 stars now because the prices they quoted for the Umbrella and Auto policies were over $200 more than the quote upon payment - truly unacceptable. NJM as a whole, however, is otherwise worth the price.

The NJM safe drive app is the worstttt. Can’t get it on my phone and they opened and closed a case without resolving it.
