Old hotel with very dark bedrooms… needs some work. There was also a group of people hanging outside my window, drinking and smoking and making a lot of noise. I had to call 4 times to the front desk to complain, and they could not ask them to stop being that loud, so I finally asked to be moved to another room (which was even worse than my previous one). They also cancelled my shuttle without notice. The room service was very bad aswell… took 1:05 hours to bring a dry steak to my room… and forgot to bring desert. Very disappointing experience overall, I would never go to this hotel again

Sleepy older hotel. Pretty well maintained. The window on my room didn't seal completely, so the road noise was pretty constant but not horrible. Conference meals were good.

One of the most inferior, as in quality of customer service you can get. The front desk cannot even tell you who is Managing the place. And one person has to ask another with department can help. Got over charged in booking, and no one was able to do anything to help resolve issue!!
Rooms: Rooms have a semi bad odor!! Out dated and musty smell. The room fan kept turning off and on even thought it was set from on, low. So double check before booking. Pool side is the worst.
Noteworthy details: Right outside the back pool area smelled like a urinal, so think before getting a room here!!

Dangerous and Unethical – $1800 in Property Damage and Zero Accountability from Hilton Parsippany and Corporate
My experience at Hilton Parsippany was deeply unsettling. During my stay, $1800 worth of personal property was damaged in my hotel room while I was absent from the room. The room and the hotel itself were in disrepair, not up to basic standards, raising immediate concerns about the quality and safety of the environment. When I reported the damage to hotel management, instead of addressing the issue, they stalled and then dodged responsibility with deceit.
After weeks of delays and evasion, their so-called "legal department" resorted to aggressive phone calls, attempting to intimidate me rather than resolve the issue. I was left with no choice but to file a police report and lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Throughout the entire process, the hotel employed stalling tactics and provided misleading information to evade accountability.
What made this situation even worse was how both Hilton Parsippany (specifically Mohamed Abdelrehim) and Hilton Corporate (Donna Balch of Hilton Executive Customer Relations) handled the aftermath. They falsely claimed to the Better Business Bureau that I had not responded to their attempts to contact me about an insurance claim. In reality, they ignored my repeated efforts to find a resolution, responding only with empty platitudes about safety and high standards in their replies to my online reviews.
This hotel's behavior raises serious concerns about its integrity and respect for guest safety. If you're considering a stay at Hilton Parsippany, I strongly advise against it. They not only failed to take responsibility for the damage but made the situation even worse through their unprofessional and dishonest handling of the issue.
If you care about your personal safety and receiving honest, professional treatment, avoid Hilton Parsippany at all costs. The complicity between the Hilton Parsippany and Hilton Corporate is deeply troubling and reflects a systemic failure to prioritize guest welfare.
Rooms: Very dingy, heavily worn, oversized outdated laminate furniture, disrepair, HVAC issues

It’s quite far from city center but might be pretty convenient if your offices are close by. The building looks a bit old, however all rooms seems to be refurbished since it’s pretty acceptable: large bed, comfortable living room space and brand-new restroom plus huge TV… not a bad choice at all!

Rooms are clean, service friendly and close to highways.
No dinner and no bar. Breakfast in the am.

Unfortunately an old hotel under the surface. Beds comfy- that’s the one star. Some people complaining of their room being too hot - others freezing and needing a space heater. Toilets broken with no spare parts, room doors without enough battery to open, waiting long periods (+ 50 mins) for ppl to come fix things, rusting fixtures (the what should be cool bedside lamp, the ac vents), in room safes not working, strange patches on carpets, tired furniture even in the lux rooms, elevators out of service. Also please don’t be fooled by the response from them below. They were very well aware of the issues as they have text messaging support, which was useless, made false statements which only escalated the issues then compounded the issue by repeatedly (without prompting from me) txting messages which were not on topic… so much so I had to block them in the end.

I stayed at this hotel because I was attending the Smallville Convention yesterday. I made my reservation a long time ago. I checked in online. I was sent a digital key when the room was ready which was at 12:30 which was great after waiting in line for autographs and avoiding check in at the desk. We went up to room and it was really hot in there. We turned thermostat to the lowest it would go which was 68. Room had issues. Went to get tp and it flew off the holder, it had no end. No microwave, dresser was chewed up at bottom corner with wood chippings on the floor. Left the room and came back about about an hour later and had to call desk because it was 75 in the room. They sent a maintenence work up and he came to the conclusion that the AC was not working, eventhough new thermostat was put in 2 days ago. We had to move rooms to across the hall, we had to pack all of our stuff back up. The maintainence person was great, he gave us 2 actual keys to the new room and they sent a different digital key. The thermostat in this room went to 60 degrees. After we got all moved we then had to get ready to go to event downstairs. I have back problems and we waited in line for quite awhile. After event, we ordered food and had to wait in lobby for delivery. The couches in lobby are literally brown from people sitting on them. That was about an hour. Head back up to room, I'm barely making it back up there because of my back. Go to open door, the digital key won't work and the actual key won't work. I call the number it says to call on my phone and it tells me that number is not good, to call the hotel number. I call the hotel number, no one answers. Waited about 2 minutes. Tried again, someone answers and they send somebody up to let me in my room.
This hotel needs an overhaul. The rooms are not the greatest and it's a Hilton. I would not stay here again.

I was in charge of a class reunion. I looked at many venues. The Hilton was the most expensive , but by far the nicest. The staff worked with me to make my budget work, and on the day of the event were so helpful. The tables were beautifully set with china. The food was exceptional, from the very fresh salad to the delicious dessert. The food staff was attentive and friendly.
Many classmates traveled to the event and stayed at the Hotel. They had nothing but great things to say. The event was a huge success and I thank the Hilton for their help in making it so.
