Stayed that the Hampton for a church retreat and everything was amazing. Breakfast was perfect check in was great! A woman named Elona really went out of her way to make sure my check in and stay were great! During the retreat the banquet staff helped so much. During the retreat a man in banquet Mario kept checking on everyone to make sure all our needs were met. He was always going out of his way to make sure each person felt care for. Thank you Hilton and Hampton Staff!

This place has BED BUGS. The staff was responsive and helpful - they called their pest control guy as soon as I told them I woke up with bites... and the place has bed bugs. Enough said.

There was a recent review posted informing of bedbugs. So, I decided to not stay here. I went back to show a friend and it was removed. Hmmm... Why? I checked another review site and found it. I copied and pasted it below."BEDBUGS!! BewareI stayed here for a quick overnight my way back from a family visit with my husband and young child. We arrived late and went straight to sleep. I woke up 3 hours later and was covered in large welts all over my body. I woke up my husband and we checked our bed sheets and found several full sized bed bugs crawling inside. It was horrifying and disgusting. We went to the front desk and it took forever to locate someone to help us. They eventually offered to let us switch rooms but by then was 4am and we had to gather all of our things and our child and move in the middle of the night, hoping this next room wouldn’t have bugs. We checked out as soon as we could and were told they couldn’t help us with any credit and were barely apologetic that morning. The front desk person said something like “I thought we had checked that room” like it’s something they deal with all the time. It was miserable because we had to spend 3 days bagging, drying and spraying all of our clothing, bags, and personal items to try to not bring the bugs home. Was the opposite of a relaxing stay and would never come back.Eventually after leaving a poor review through their survey system, they wrote back confirming that they did find bed bugs in our room and offered a refund. By then it felt like the least they could do."-Unknown

The Hampton Inn is exactly what we were looking for. Very clean rooms in a good spot with lots of places to eat within a 15 min drive.Just one thing to note. My wife got 3 Dr Peppers for the place next to the front counter, and they were $5 each. I know things would be higher priced in a hotel, but $5 is pretty ridiculous!Rooms: Rooms are large and comfortable.Nearby activities: Lots of places nearby to eat.Food & drinks: $5 for a single cola at the counter is pretty ridiculous

We had a perfectly comfortable night’s stay at the Parsippany Hampton Inn on our way home from a visit with family and friends. I would recommend this as a very good and clean hotel to spend the night on a road trip.Rooms: The beds in our room were extremely comfortable. Service was friendly and prompt.

Beware bedbugs on 2nd floor! This facility has gone downhill and needs to be renovated and throughly cleaned! Only positive about this stay was the location.

To be honest, we only go to this hotel twice a year to attend a horror movie convention called Chiller Theatre, so I've never stayed here and can't comment on the rooms or customer service. I can say that the layout of the parking area is a bit wonky and there are 3 entrances you can use to get into the building. I imagine this hotel regularly hosts conventions as there are many public rooms of various sizes that can be used as meeting and/or dining rooms and a bar, steak house, outside seating area, etc. - it's a bit of a maze. I might feel differently if I stayed here, but for now, it's functional when we need to visit and has a decent restroom to use before we head back to PA.

Low service, old rooms, don’t use AC heating - smells bad and nobody cares.

We were incredibly disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. The bathroom felt very unsanitary. Firstly, the bathroom ended up having many flies flying around and landing on the ceiling, towels and shower curtains. In addition, when I went to take a shower, I discovered that the water would build up in the tub and not drain properly. Even half an hour later, barely any of the water was drained.Lastly, when I went to grab a towel to dry myself off, the first towel I grabbed had two disgusting brown stains. For me, that was the last nail in the coffin. I felt incredibly disgusted. In addition, when we requested to swap out our feather pillows for non-feather pillows (as one of us is allergic), one of the replaced pillows had a brown streak on its pillowcase. The air in the rooms was also very dry especially when sleeping at night. We brought a leaf inside that we wanted to preserve and within just a matter of a couple of hours, the leaf completely dried out and shriveled up!Thankfully, when we brought the cleanliness issues up to the front desk, the employee assisted us by moving us to a new room that seemed to not have any of these problems, so we were grateful for her despite it being the middle of the night.Overall the price we paid for the stay was NOT worth it considering we ran into these basic problems. I would not stay here again. This is incredibly surprising considering that Hampton has a generally good reputation. One other thing to mention is that although we used the Hilton messaging app to request our room to have the feather pillows swapped out with non-feather pillows before our visit, the app made zero difference. Despite the employee promising that he would swap our pillows, we still had feather pillows upon our arrival and had to go to the front desk to request the pillows to be swapped out.I will say there are a few things we were happy with. Firstly, when we arrived early (before check-in), although we were completely fine with waiting and checking in later, the employee at the front desk kindly waived the early check-in fee for us and let us check in early.Second, an employee at the front desk that moved us to a different room upon hearing our issues with the bathroom, was very quick and polite, even in the middle of the night.Third, we greatly enjoyed the food provided at the free breakfast, as it had a good variety of foods to choose from and was very tasty. (I really enjoyed the fact that they even had waffle irons and batter to cook your own waffles with).

Watch out they double charge and don't refund the money. You have to dispute it through your bank to get the money back. The person working the front desk was dismissive even after admitting the error.
