Outstanding service! I called about a week ago to set up an appointment for my brakes and headlight to be fixed and they set me up for what worked with my schedule. Jim was such a huge help and communicated perfectly with pricing and diagnosis. For the size of the job, the pricing was more than fair and I didn’t feel taken advantage of at all. I will definitely be returning for my auto needs!

If you get a flat and need it fixed, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR RIM trying to get there. The first thing they ask is if you have a reservation because they are all booked for the day. Do people actually plan a flat ahead of time and make a reservation to get it fixed when it happens?! Please make it make sense. But he was nice and sent me to Mavis about one mile away.

I went to three mechanics who told me there was nothing they could do regarding a problem in my 2013 Kia, and Expert Automotive had it fixed in a day. Super friendly, I will only be going here for my car needs from now on.

I moved to the Lake Parsippany area over 5 years ago and wanted a mechanic nearby for oil changes and anything else that might come up with my cars. A google search brought me to Expert Automotive and it’s been the best experience I have ever had with a mechanic.
Jim is a real honest, stand-up guy. The work on my car is always tiptop. I have been to plenty of other car places where they push cabin air filters and other things, he never pushes “add-ons.” He gives an honest assessment and does great work at a fair price. Will never bring my cars anywhere else!

Was looking for a new mechanic and came across expert automotive. I'm so glad I did. Jim and his crew did such a thorough job and kept me informed the entire time about the issues with my Jeep, pricing (which is very reasonable), and completion time. Jim is super knowledgeable and I would 100% recommend Expert Automotive. Great job guys.

Needed a good amount of work done on my Subaru. They were able to get me in their schedule, diagnosed my issue effectively and provided a detailed quote for the work required in a timely manner. Very professional and well done work. The staff was always friendly and attentive.

Friendly and prompt service, unfortunately they no longer allow you to wait at the store during repairs so need to.go with someone for drop off and pickup.

Jim’s been taking care of my 2018 WRX STI for the past couple of years. He is extremely thorough and knows his stuff- and has taught me a lot about my car. He always gives me a fair price, and as a woman who owns a performance car, he never takes advantage of me or my lack of knowledge about the car. I don’t even live in the area anymore, and drive 45 minutes away to have my car taken care of by Jim.I 100% recommend him for everything.

Absolutely fantastic! I sought their assistance after a disastrous experience with Goodyear Auto. Drawn in by their positive reviews, I decided to give them a shot. Despite having to return for additional repairs due to Goodyear's shoddy work, this team did an exceptional job reworking the brakes that were initially bungled by Goodyear.

It's an excellent shop that does great work. I only have one car and I commute 30 miles to work. They stayed late on Friday to finish me up after the job kept getting bigger. This is the place to go if you need work done on your car, but don't clog them up too much because I need them to work on my car when it breaks down every week

Jim and his crew are fantastic, went to him with a brake issue and experienced a hiccup in the repair process but he did everything possible to make it correct. Knowledgeable, prompt and most importantly, operates his business with integrity where the customer comes first. “ No shenanigans”. I thought they was good but my car engine light came on. I though he made the repair and fix the issue. However my engine light came back on took it back and basically was blown off. He never corrected or fix the issue .Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I would HIGHLY recommend Jim and Expert Automotive. I called him because I was getting NO RESPONSE from the dealership I got my car from, and was looking for someone to look at and fix my car as soon as possible. Jim was able to accommodate me and fix the car ASAP. I had my car back in less than 24 hours! (In fact, I am STILL waiting for the dealership to respond.)He is very knowledgable and his pricing is excellent. We will be using him for ALL our vehicles from now on.Thank you for an AMAZING job.
