I want to publicly thank and recognize DOWC for being a vehicle extended warranty company that responsibly fulfills its contractual obligations. I remain extremely pleased with our decision to purchase the warranty in July 2021, when we purchased a 2015 Toyota Camry for my daughter. We received a tremendous return on investment when DOWC paid for transmission and axle repair work amounting to at least four (4) times our contract price. DOWC did not turn out to be a scam or a hoax. DOWC proved to be a credible business that is truly committed to doing what they say they will do.I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service that Ray and others provided us leading up to the repair and throughout the repair process. Instead of settling for the mere replacement of the torque converter within the transmission, Ray was our advocate and pushed to replace the entire transmission. And, because of that, my daughter has a vehicle with a longer life as she uses it in college and as she travels to and from college. Although the repair process was unusually lengthy because of the issues related to the shipment of parts from DOWC's parts dealer and the repair facility, Ray and his staff were in constant communication with all parties involved and knew the accurate status whenever I inquired.Thank you DOWC! Keep up the excellent work! Your work made a difference to improve my family's lifestyle!

I had about a 10 minute wait but once I had someone on the line, everything went pretty smoothly (as smooth as you’d expect dealing with claims to be). I have worked very closely with Ray O, Angel. Glenn. And various other adjusters at DOWC. They are very pleasant to work with and very flexible on meeting the needs of a repair shop and customers. This company I think is the worst I purchased my car new from the dealer pay like close to ten grand and when my car need a service cos something when wrong with my transmission I call them and fist they tell me the dealer is responsible for repairs but the dealer close during the pandemic so I call them back and they give me a claim number and refer me to different places I call and nobody can help so I call back to de DOWC and the referme to a different place so I take my car to this place and give my claim number bottom line they denay my claim I call back and they tell me the dealer have no money to pay for my repairs I tell them that my paper work look like the pay to DOWC but they say they collect a little of it and they also tell me that they only refer me to different places and give only claims number that it that why if any body want this company do not recommend it at all this is my worst experience but never more I I could give no stars I will do it

I would strongly caution anyone considering DOWC to look elsewhere for reliable and trustworthy car insurance. This company's empty assurances and refusal to honor their own claims have left me deeply disappointed and regretful of ever having chosen them. Save yourself the headache and frustration – avoid DOWC at all costs.

So far I have not had a good experience with this company. So far the communication has been horrible. When I did finally speak with a rep they informed me that some claims can take up to a week to process. This is ridiculous if you need your car you can’t wait up to a week to get approved for your car to get repaired for a service that you paid for. So far this has not been a good experience. When I purchased a vehicle warranty from the dealer there was no waiting period foolishness for approval. If a certified repair facility stated that something needed to be replaced they replaced it with no hesitation. People purchase warranties to avoid chaos when they vehicle breakdown.The response from vendor is not true. Vendor simply did not want want to cover parts specifically laid out in the contract. Also they did not want to approve the rate to fix one of the parts outlined by Audi which is the manufacturer of the vehicle. Simply updating this review to let other consumers know to stay away from this company, they will give you and the repair shop the run around when it's time for them to hold up there end of the bargain.

I am not one to leave reviews, but I've unfortunately had a terrible experience working with DOWC. After purchasing what was sold as an all inclusive warranty package (level 3) I have been shown otherwise. They do not allow/pay for OEM parts, their hourly rate/labor is a joke, they will cut labor hours short forcing you to pay the rest of the bill, and slow to respond to ANYTHING! It has taken over a week for an approval process for a small ticket item (less then 2k). I have been without a car for over a week footing the bill for ubers to get to and from work. Every time I have called to see where things are at, they have no answer bc the person who does the approving is only available via email. I wish I did research before investing thousands into what I thought was a good company.UPDATE:Convenient you happen to push my order through the same day as the review. Per your response which is amusing and illusive. Even if it was purchased from a OEM (Audi dealership), DOWC does not cover OEM parts regardless, only covering used or cheaper repair parts so its a moot point. Second, your team refuses to pay that full amount requested per OEM (Audi) work manuals for the labor cost and hourly rate. What was SOLD and PROMISED as headache free warranty package seems to be not so premium, as I have covered more of the cost than what the warranty company is paying for. It's a joke and scheme. Save your money and choose a more reliable and honest warranty company.
