“We recently brought home our new best friend, a little grey cockatiel. She was already stepping up and very tame. We could tell she’d been well cared for at the store. The store is always clean and the birds are clearly happy and healthy. Some say the prices are high, but these babies are being hand fed and tamed before they go home to you. Worth every penny!We did not do the DNA testing, but it’s worth noting that they charge about $100 LESS than what my vet quoted for us.”

“My husband and I recently brought home our first pup and I needed guidance on the right food help our puppy grow into a strong healthy adult and was sick of going around Petco / Petsmart browsing the aisles, so I did a google search of Pet stores near me and The Scottish Dog popped up and I'm so glad it did. Upon entering the store the Owner kindly greeted me and asked me if I needed any help, so of course I rattled off my puppy's life story and what brought me in and what I needed help with. She directed me to 3 different brands she recommended based off the issues we have been having / what I was looking for.She answered my MANY questions with patience and ease. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and I cannot wait to come back and shop here again. The store is also very organized, clean, well kept, and very well stocked. There was a large array of toys, foods, treats, etc to browse through. They even have reward programs and raffles for loyal repeat customers. There is nothing like shopping at a small business who truly loves and cares for their customers.I highly recommend The Scottish Dog to any dog / cat Owner and happy to say they gained a new loyal customer!”

“Been bringing my doggo here for years. The rating is not a good reflection of the groomers working here, never had an issue with the front desk. More importantly though is that the groomers are all really nice, we went to Stephanie for years but she recently left and now Chrissy (I believe she's the owner) has taken over cutting for my dog. He is soooo cute after his cuts I'm always excited for his grooming visits. Also love how he smells and how they give a little bandana wrap as a finish.”

“The staff are friendly but the customers with dogs are always a problem. These people think their dogs must become friends in the store even though there’s always frightening fights. My leg was almost bitten by a dog the owner refused to pull away. My leg is not there for a strangers dog to sniff/investigate. Dog owners should relegated to the grooming areas.”

“Adopted Teddy during the Pandemic and Husky House was amazing. Multiple visits to make sure he was good with my other pups and they gave all the support needed during and after adoption. Everyobe who works there loves the dogs so much and Teddy was so taken care of before his adoption. I would and likely will adopt from them again. The Owner loves these dogs like they're her own and she may at times seem harsh but she's just protecting those beautiful animals that can't protect themselves, A++++”

“My puppy Cookie loves going to this store. The sales ladies are wonderful. Not sure if I'm spelling their names correctly, but Gail and Terry are awesome. If I need anything in particular or need a recommendation ,these two ladies have always guided me in the right direction.My puppy has been attending the training classes since October 2023. We enrolled her for all available classes. Her trainer Robyn is amazing. Robyn has been super patient and nice. Her techniques and knowledge is 100% teaching me to train Cookie and to be the best responsible owner I can be. Cookie is an American Bully and is training to be my medical service animal. With her help, Cookie has come a long way. We wish that we can take Robyn home with us. Cookie and I can't wait to begin the next Semester this February.Cookie and the rest of our family appreciates you all.”

“I recently started shopping at this PetSmart again, and I must say there are some personable, professional cashiers there now. I'd stopped shopping there quite a while ago after strange interactions with a cashier who just irked me when I had the misfortune to end up with her. She was just ill-mannered and not very personable, and I really disliked having to deal with her.She just didn't seem to know better.But my recent cashier experiences there have been great. So, that's good.Re: the store. It's OK, and I can usually find most of what I want. But on one of my recent trips, I'd noticed that there was a "puddle" near one of the aisles toward the front of the store. I let a worker know about it. He asked me if I saw/knew which dog had done it. Puzzled, I told him know. I went about my shopping and was in the store for quite a while. From the time that I entered the store to the time I paid the cashier and left, that puddle just stayed there. I thought that was unfortunate.”
