He is a joy to speak with, and is a straight shooter. Next time we're in town, we will make it a point to visit again. “This place is absolutely incredible. I think I could spend 8 hours in here and not see everything. I was shocked at how big the space is, what a hidden treasure. I went in on a Saturday and it was a little busy but that's normal. The gentlemen working were two of the nicest guys I have ever met, which makes me want to shop here all the time. They were so kind with every customer. Once it was my turn, not only did one of the gentlemen wrap each one of my purchases in paper then boxed them, but when I got home I realized he also removed the tags, saving me that chore. I will be back - often.”

Thanks for everything, sir. You made my day and I will be back. Also, know that I absolutely love my vintage shell lamp shade. It looks gorgeous in my day room. I removed the standard cloth shade and placed this one on my lamp and I just played music and enjoyed looking at it. It is perfectly beautiful and I feel like it was waiting just for me :)

CONS: They only accept cash up to $25 and parking is limited to street parking. It's also cramped inside overall: if you were in the area you should stop on in. “I highly recommend The Village Timekeeper! After being told by two other shops that there were no options, my clock was completely repaired. I even questioned that the price was too low since it did not reflect the base pendulum adjustment, two new batteries or the several minute phone conversation on battery changing and suggestions on how to maintain the longevity of the clock. I expressed that I was more than happy to compensate him for his time, but Paul refused. He knew that this was a sentimental piece and that I would have paid anything to fully restore it, but this is clearly a trustworthy establishment with an exceptionally skilled technician.
