I hate to go on here and have to say this but I go to this Ulta quite frequently as I live in Paramus about five minutes from Paramus Park Mall. I visited today and I felt extremely uncomfortable. Every time I turned around an older female employee with dark hair was watching my sister and I. Her demeanor was extremely unwelcoming, she watched as we checked out, and even by the door as we left. We have no intention in ever stealing in our lives so to be stereotyped at a store that I visit so often was very disheartening and hurtful. You can guess what we look like if that gives you a sense of why we feel this way. I have never felt the need to leave a review for any establishment but this was completely unacceptable. And this employee needs to be given diversity training because believe it or not people of darker skin can afford to purchase their own their goods. And for that employee because I am sure you know who you are if you read this: I hope you never have to experience feeling the way you made us feel today.

The management at this specific Ulta is extremely unprofessional. Little to no help leaving regular staff to assist me when I asked for a manager. I’m not sure of her name but the “manager” I had requested came to the front to help had blonde hair and glasses, and I’ll add in nasty attitude. Please find a new job lady. Makeup can’t fix your attitude and I left extremely upset and unsatisfied.

Kaylee V did an amazing job! I went in for a formal makeup application and formal hair styling. I had a black tie wedding that night. I don’t wear makeup often so she made sure the makeup looked natural and I was comfortable with each step. I didn’t have a reference photo so she asked questions to make sure i got exactly want I wanted. It came out looking amazing. For my hair I had a vague idea of what I wanted and again she talked through her thoughts with me and we did a high ponytail with some face framing pieces. She made sure it was extra secure. I left feeling amazing. If I wasn’t from out of state I’d returned to her all the time!

Had such a great experience with Aila today at Ulta in Paramus Park! She was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful that I asked her for a business card with her name on it to make sure she receives the recognition she deserves. Ulta is lucky to have such a dedicated and knowledgeable employee. Thanks again Alia for everything!

Make your next appointment with Kaylee if you need a great hair cut she is the person to go to. She is very professional and gives her honest opinion will be back soon.

In going to my hairdresser for years, I was a bit nervous on a change. I made an appointment with Kaylee, and she was amazing!!!! She made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Color, cut, and blowout were the best services I have ever gotten!!!! I now have a new hairdresser!!!!

Just had my hair and makeup done at this ulta for a wedding. Olama did my hair and makeup and Geortte did my sister in laws and they came out FANTASTIC! Olama had attention to detail and advised on what would look best. Geortte actually fixed my sister in laws hair after another location didn’t do the hair do as she wanted. Book these ladies!

I had my hair done by Olame Fallah. She the best hair colorist I’ve been too. She also did my extensions and they have stayed the longest out of any other extensions I’ve ever had.

When I entered the place no one greeted or asked me for help not to mention that the staff who rang me up gave me an attitude because I couldn’t read my gift card pin. Then when I looked up at her she gave me a fake smile and a dirty look. customer service is bad and it’s making me not like Ulta anymore . I’ve worked in retail and I know the basics of knowing how to greet customers and courtesy

This Ulta had the nicest staff! 10/10 Shout out to Cassandra in the hair salon who gave me her recommendations on her favorite hair products and why they were so great. Isabela at the front also gave me a great recommendation but was also super helpful as she checked me out and Alia who help pick the perfect concealer color for me not to mention and all around sweetheart of a human being. Apparently she does killer brows at the benefit brow studio inside the store...cant wait to go for a shaping sometime soon! Thank you ladies!

Thank you Ulta for running this fantastic hair styling workshop! I was lucky to have one of their master stylist’s Georgette teach me how to blow dry my hair and get the amazing bounce and fabulous curls! Georgette discussed the best shampoo and conditioner to use for the texture of my hair as well as showed me the step by step techniques to get those smooth and bouncy locks. I highly recommend Georgette and attending the workshops at Ulta Paramus Park.
