Terrible experience. All cashiers are always busy and my option is always self checkout. There are no signs up there that says is 10 items or less that anyone can see when making the line until you get to the front. The sign is in the bottom of the bottom. The lady who is “helping customers” just said you have to step out of the line, after I did a line of at least 10 people. I told her, sorry that sign is not visible and I think is not fair. She rudely said there were more cashiers and that I had to move. Horrible, I am no taking anything free and I was happily buying from the store and she act she was doing me a favor by even let me pay in another cashier. Horrible experience.

Store needs more groundskeeping bc it is unkempt. Trash everywhere and entry is not welcoming at all. Not like it used to be at your local Target.
Also Be aware they don’t have reusable bags at self checkout and NJ stopped giving plastic bags. But they still charge you for the bag? Out of curiosity, i tapped on the smaller writing asking if I had my own bag (of course I do… how else can I move my items out of the store/out of my car?). I pplugged in that I brought my own bag even though I was just walking out with the product in hand. And it gave a discount of 5cents. HOW? is it possible to have a surcharge or even a discount, when they don’t give bags at all? Perhaps everyone should get the discount or at least make the wording more prominent so that every one can opt out of the surcharge. Sounds like an issue for ftc or the dept of consumer affairs.

Conveniently located but can be better organized..they have everything from home, clothing , kitchen and dry groceries. They are fully stocked and have good prices .. I felt the home collection is definitely better compared to other target stores. They have everything you need for
home furnishings or apartment furnishings..it’s a pretty big target ? so definitely worth a visit.
The staff is very very helpful and there is a lot of foot traffic so the staff must be overwhelmed with how much stuff people leave all over.

drove out of my way to this store to pick up an order and I get there and they tell me they don’t have it but had no issue charging me for the item. had me standing around for 20 minutes and told me they knew exactly where it was too. I understand that it isn’t the workers faults but very unprofessional.

Lazy Cashiers.. They want increase in salary.. Ever since the ban on shopping bags.. they have become even more lazy. I went to target in Paramus and purchased two re-useable shopping totes for some clothes and the lazy cashier just scanned the items and threw them on top of the tote bags.. So she couldn't even bother to place the clothes in the shopping tote? She even looked like a lazy sack herself. And this is what they cry about unfair wages when they can't go the extra effort for anything

i come here often. my coworkers and i will show up later sometimes (later as in 10 and the store closes at 11) because we have strange hours. most of the employees are usually always kind, helpful, and understanding and im sorry to leave a one star review on behalf of one employee. however, i’ve now had a negative experience with the same employee twice in a row.
the first time, me and one of my other coworkers were looking for personal health items we needed as other stores weren’t open. we knew exactly what we needed, were in there fast, probably got there at around 10:20 and left by at least 10:50 if not earlier. an older woman walked by us in the personal care section, stopped, and said “we’re closing soon.” we looked at her and said thank you, but she continued to stand there and roll her eyes like we were doing something wrong. target had not even done their announcement over the loudspeakers urging customers to finish up yet. this was the end of the interaction, and while it was annoying, was not enough for us to go home and leave a review.
however, tonight i am writing this review because this employee is honestly making me not want to return. same deal: we walk in later, but not late enough to be annoyed. i get it, we work long hours too: you want to go home! but this is your job and you close at 11. i wouldn’t even consider giving a customer attitude for being in the store until at least 5 minutes before close. anyway, the moment we walk inside at 10:15, the older woman IMMEDIATELY says “we’re closing soon.” once again, just that and nothing else. at this point we remember her and just keep walking. about five/ten minutes later, my coworker was in the changing room and needed me to exchange sizes for her really quick so i went to grab a different size. the woman sees me grabbing the item and once again, says “we’re closing soon.” at this point im annoyed so i look at her and say “i know”. she then responds “well our changing room lights are going off now.” i just said “maam, im just exchanging something” and walked away while she once again rolled her eyes. mind you, my friend was IN the changing rooms with an employee right there and they were absolutely not turned off nor did anyone try to dissuade us from using it. upsetting once again, but the real reason i’m writing this review is because after WE HAD ALREADY LEFT, paid, driven away, time is about 10:45, my coworkers mother who we had met up there and was STILL THERE, no one said a thing to her the entire time, was checking out her items and overheard this same woman calling us delinquents and names behind our backs to her other employees for absolutely no reason. we had not done anything wrong. the store closes at ELEVEN. if im actively shopping at around 10:55 feel free to say something to me but to come up to me and say “the store is closing in one minute” at 10:45 is absurd. didn’t mention this- at one point the woman saw us again and her coworkers were nearby and she turned to them asking them the time right in front of us just to tell us, yet again, that she wants us out. even the other employees looked uncomfortable from the blatant disrespect we were receiving because we looked young? not sure why but i hope this gets to her because i don’t appreciate being disrespected when i haven’t done anything.

I don't shop at Target often because they charge too high prices, but this particular one is among the worst. They also have an extremely ridiculous policy of only allowing 10 or less items at the self check out....but then don't have any registers open. Won't be returning to this Target.

I have go for different items because in the app it says it is available , when I get there they don’t have what it says they do. Same thing happened in Hackensack place. That is happening very frequently to me.
