after visiting the GU pop-up store earlier this year and having a wonderful experience, i can say their new flagship location is an improvement on something that was already amazing! although it was a bit crowded the store was well stocked and organized, even having their kirby collaboration goods in stock!

Love Uniqlo and this store has a lot of similar offerings at slightly lower prices, staff was helpful as well!

GU, the sister brand of Uniqlo, has had a small pop-up in SoHo for months now. After a brief closing during the summer, they have now reopened in a larger store that serves as their official US flagship store.
The selection is vast and contains styles for many different occasions. most of the upper floor is current styles, with a vast selection for men and women's clothing. The first floor also contains current collabs, such as Kirby during the time I visited. The bottom floor consists of things such as shoes, socks, and out of season clothing options.
The prices are much more affordable compared to Uniqlo, and overall the quality of the clothes is more to my liking at GU as well. The sizings do run a bit closer to Asian sizes, which could be troublesome if you are taller than average for things like pants or shoes, but overall the shirt selection is perfect for most people.
Overall a place I would highly recommend checking out for new styles as well as quality clothes for good prices.

Sales associate were friendly and knew their products. However, disappointed that the store does not offer free hemming services like their parent company Uniqlo.

Five stars for the employees, but two for their sizes. All their clothes are like one size smaller than Uniqlo. I typically wear a L at Uniqlo and I find I need to wear XL at GU. Some of the clothes only go up to XL for women(like a US 12). They don’t even have the XL in store(the flared jeans for example) where you can only get it online?! Seriously?

I don’t usually write reviews for clothing stores but the employees here are some of the nicest I’ve ever encountered! I was here during the grand opening and every single person who worked in the store greeted me/asked me if I needed help and they were all so, so friendly. Super rare to see customer service like this in fast fashion shops

The new GU Flagship in Soho just opened and I checked it out on the second day. The staff was amazing and the array of merchandise looks VERY good. It's clearly intended for a younger crowd and has a trendier vibe than Uniqlo but I feel that there's something here for all ages. I especially loved the oversized winter coats.

Great clothes, though a small selection since they are moving locations across the street soon. Prices are pretty fair and staff are very helpful.
