Do not bother to use this bus service. They are either broke down; cancelled or just don’t show up. If they arrive they are at least one hour late. They can’t keep drivers which means they do not pay their employees well or they don’t appreciate them. The only time they are on time is the starter bus at 7:15 am from port authority in NYC and that’s if it doesn’t break and just not go anywhere. I have used this bus system for 14 years. It was a good company. Now, it’s sure to get you stranded. Don’t waste your money. Take the train or split the Uber fare with someone else standing in line waiting on this bus. Another thing is the 700pm bus is supposed to leave terminal A at Newark airport at 700 pm! You can stand there at the bus stop and watch the driver talk on his phone or nap between 7:15-7:35, then he bothers to move the bus to the bus stop and open the door. Terrible service

If you’re booking for a nyc to ewr trip, forget making your flight. They NEVER show up on time and have caused me to loose multiple flights despite arriving hours early to make up for their recklessness. Typing this as I loose another flight due to this sub-par company with no regards to people’s times whatsoever.

We booked a trip with Coach USA for a large community to Washington, DC on November 4, 2023. Everything seemed fine until the night before the trip, when Coached USA canceled our community reservation. coach USA did not offer any explanation, apology, or compensation for the inconvenience.Our community was shocked and angry by Coach USA lack of professionalism and customer service. Our community had already made plans and arrangements for the trip, and at the eleven hour, had to scramble to find another transportation option at the last minute. It was a nightmare. We wasted a lot of time, money, and energy because of Coach USA irresponsibility. They ruined our community trip and caused us a lot of stress and hardship.We do not recommend Coach USA to anyone. Coach USA is unreliable, untrustworthy, and disrespectful. Coach USA doesn’t care about ITS customers or ITS reputation. Coach USA is the worst transportation company we have ever dealt with. I have been a loyal customer for decades commuting to NY from Montvale NJ. I have slowly been using the paper tickets I bought pre-COVID and during COVID as my commuting recently became more frequent. On October 24 the bus driver refused to accept paper tickets. I contacted the customer service who refused to exchange or refund the paper tickets and finally told me that the 3 month window to exchange the tickets was closed. However, they did not tell me when that mysterious window occurred and nobody informed me of it in the first place. The bus drivers accepted paper tickets while some passengers had digital ones. I have 195 paper tickets left well in excess of $1500. What a way to scam a customer!

5 stars! Took the bus after a late night Metallica concert at MetLife stadium in NJ. Bus 351 - leaves from Lot K. Super smooth experience, friendly and helpful personell and drops you off at Port Authority (42nd) from where you just jump on the subway. Great alternative to train from MetLife - bus is less crowded and you get an assigned seat + air conditioning! Thanks guys!

What is going on with this transportation company that in the 21st Century their buses are not equipped with USB outlets?I found myself on this bus going to Baltimore, Maryland with some friends. I'm using the power I have left to write this review. I want to let people know that Coach USA buses are ill equipped. The bus looks modern but it's not well equipped. There's one dock in the back but it's not working. Wtf. These are the things I won't be able to do while sojourn on this jitney: text my bae, my daughter, my ex-husband or check the news. I don't feel comfortable using my phone completely because I'm using battery power. I just started this trip and I have less than 50%. I'm hoping I will be able to charge my phone once I get to my destination without too much hassle. As far as my journey back to NYC I need to have a charged phone so I can stay in contact with the person who's picking me up to take me home. This is some wack s***. It's a good thing I never leave home without a ban item. A book! Somebody tell Coach USA we're not going back to the 20th Century. Use some of that Covid money the government gave out and upgrade your buses. I can't recommend this company. Thank God, I brought a banned item with me. A book.Here's the kick in the dick: no toilet tissue. SMH.

william was directing the lines for people to go on the bus and he was a great help after the twice concert in new jersey. i told him i was scared because i wasnt from the area and i had a long way to go home he assured me i dont have to worry and that he'll get me on the bus. thank you william i hope we cross paths again

Not a good experience, and it caused around a 40 minute delay.Paid for a ticket at Newark airport, put my heavy bag in storage with no offered assistance, then boarded the bus.Upon boarding it was nearly full, and no seats were left. The driver then spent over 20 minutes trying to unlock and pull out additional seats, but she failed to understand the mechanism to unlock them, or was not trained in how to do this. Ended up with a few men attempting to pull out extra seats with brute force and also failing because of the locking mechanism.Everybody else on the bus started complaining, and then 6 of us were asked to disembark and find another form of transportation.The driver and associate made a phone call to some sort of dispatch and spent a few minutes receiving instructions and arguing about how to refund.10 or so minutes later we received a cash refund with no apology, and then the bus left in a hurry.

I only found out that consecutive buses going to the airport were canceled upon calling a Coach USA rep.This essentially left all Coach USA customers trying to catch flights with no option other than taking an Uber or cab during peak NYC traffic hours.The response I received from Coach USA after this disaster was:"Currently, Coach USA does not have a system to notify passengers of cancellations via email or SMS."When I ride other bus providers like Grayhound, I'm promptly notified of delays by text, LET ALONE CANCELED RIDES.Be very wary of booking Coach USA when trying to make flights.
