Campmor is a great place to find quality outdoor equipment at a fair price. I've been camping and backpacking for about 50 years (God I'm getting old) and enjoy the outdoors immensely. I live out west now, but I use to live in NJ and visited the store a few times. Great people and great equipment!! Understand it's not mountaineering grade, but most of us don't need that level of performance (or cost). Mostly i buy tents and winter clothing from Campmor. I have 4 Eureka tents and I'm please with all of them. Recently i got the el Capitan 4 outfitter and i'm looking forward to taking it to Pagosa Springs, Colorado this Feb. Campmor makes it easy to compare products. Do yourself a favor and buy quality and you'll have it a long time. Oh, their service is great too. I got my latest tent delivered in 4 days.

Well for me, the delivery service was not reliable. The estimated delivery was Dec 30 and it is Dec 2 today, and still have not received it.If you are planning a trip or need it by a certain date, I suggest do not buy it online. If you can maybe just visit the store but do not rely on the shipping. If you cannot visit the store, I suggest buying it from other reliable service if you can.

This camping store has been around for a long time. My family and I have been customers of Campmor for more than 30 years. You can buy just about anything related to camping, trekking, kayaking etc. They also sell clothing for such outdoor activities.The best part is that they have very knowledgeable staff who can answer all your questions.These types of stores have largely gone out of business these days and been replaced by chain stores. But Campmor survives and is as good today as it was 30 years ago.I highly recommend this store.

After 10 years of driving by campmor with my kids and dog in the car and never stopping the planets aligned and I was by myself on a Saturday when I stopped by. Very overwhelming with just how much gear and clothing they have here but tons of great options. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's a great one stop shop for anything outdoors.

I would like to tell you. I wish more people knew about Campmor. It is almost the best kept secret in Paramus yet they have been around for years. They have everything for the outdoors. The store is well stocked with anything from camping gear for kitchen goods to hiking boots. If have not tried out Campmor now is the time.

Campmor is an independent store that sell brands they believe in... Not what corporate purchasing made a deal on.. staffed by people that LOVE the outdoors and here can work in their passion.. Support independent businesses.. (yes their hours are not std retail because their staff needs time to enjoy the outdoors as well)

The staff was extremely helpful to check inventory and help me install my cargo box. They even stayed late and let me use tools so I didn't have to drive another hour the next day. Great experience!

Loved this store since i was a child. In 2020 their shelves were pretty empty and I thought they were closing their doors but im glad they're still around. Always glad to give them the business over an rei or amazon.

Ordered online after finding the lowest price on a Thule Compass Kayak carrier. My order was prepared and shipped impressively fast. It arrived in 3 days from PA to MO. That tells me they care about their customers and work hard to get their orders out. Greatly appreciated!

This is a place I can spend hours in! Not only do they have a vast amount of backcountry gear, but their friendly attitude makes it easy to approach each staff member. They are very knowledgeable an can point you in the right direction.

Ordered a Thule Roof Box before my trip. Pulled right up to the installation bay and got assistance putting it right on my truck. So helpful and knowledgeable. They even disposed of the giant box.

Clean store with good selection and staff. If you are getting shoes then RON is your man! Knowledgeable, helpful and I wound up getting shoes online but, no commission pushyness here.I would give 5 stars but this place is on the Pricey side!
