Joined a month ago only for the lap pool.1. Bathrooms are not kept well cleaned. (Unacceptable)2. I Run out of hot water in the showers twice. (That means people not showering before swimming !)3. Lifeguard always on the phone.Clearly this gym is lacking STAFF SUPERVISION. This place has potential and with better staffing could do better.

When is a *24* hour fitness close on a Friday night at 9 pm. Half the equipment is broken and old. It sucks big time. Warning. Don't waste your money find another gym. Ps locker rooms are not cleaned properly. Hair on floor. You get the picture.

If there was zero star that’s what this gym would get, location is great, but, MY GOD please fix the machines and actually clean the gym! About 50% of the machines are ALWAYS broken and 25% of the 50% that actually works squeaks and feel rusty…it is not enjoyable to workout here!

I've been a member here for about a year, and the quality has taken a pretty dramatic nose dive over the past month or so. I'm going to look for a membership elsewhere. I've mostly been using the gym for the BodyPump classes and the treadmills/bikes. And in the last month or so, the Bodypump teacher left (with no communication shared with the class attendees), several classes were cancelled last minute without warning, and with no explanation again, and a substitute teacher has been assigned to the class who seems utterly, ridiculously unqualified to be teaching this class. I, and a lot of other people, looked shocked when he started teaching. He didn't seem to know anything about the class's usual format, didn't talk almost at all the entire class, and demonstrated random moves for 10 or 15 seconds throughout the class, then proceed to walk around yelling unclear instructions at people. It was bizarre, and I think pretty irresponsible to have someone so unqualified teaching class like this, where people need explanation and guidance to attain proper form, pacing, etc. About a quarter of the aerobic equipment/machines disappeared in the past few weeks, I'm not sure why they were removed. And at the same time, 10-15 of the remaining machines got "temporarily out of service" signs on them, and have not been functioning for weeks now. My $39/month + annual fee membership felt worthwhile for most of this year, but it definitely doesn't anymore and I'm going to switch to somewhere else. The communication here is particularly awful, it just feels chaotic and like no one knows what's going on. UPDATE: Someone from the gym told me to reach out via their online Contact Us form. I've tried to submit the form several times but keep getting an error message saying it cannot be submitted.

Pool hours haven't changed after 2 years since covid. Pool closes from 12pm to 4pm, and then 8pm week days. On the weekend at 2pm! All other 24 fitness gyms don't have these crazy pool hours, and charge the same rate. Why is the Paramus gym members short changed? Also, men's bathroom is kept very badly. The locker room is cleaned only one time a day. See photos. Lights haven't worked in the showers for the past 6 months. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Roaches in the suana and men's locker room. Handle on one of the showers is broken. Also the shower drainage is backed up. This is where I woukd have to put my feet in. Clogged all the time. Disgusting.

I used to love this place but after COVID sadly they abandoned most of their quality services. The bathrooms are not very clean and the pool rules are insane. On top they close the pool 4 hours per day. This is an expensive gym, not good quality, not open 24h and they don’t have daycare anymore. I wish a manager read this and do something about it.

Big gym, mostly clean, but could use multiple machinery on main floor so there is less waiting for a particular machine especially on busy days. The staff is friendly and supportive, super cool, warm and friendly, down to earth. The pool/sauna area hours are not convenient. On weekdays only open until 12pm then closed. It is reopened from 4-8pm so by the time you get there after work you have to rush through your workout if you want to make the sauna. Weekends, the pool/sauna area is open until only 2pm so again little time. Still, overall not a bad place to get yourself moving.

Amazing Gym, I’ve been a member since Hasbrouck Heights was open. Yes there are some room for improvement, however overall the best gym for the best price, considering I travel a lot, I can use any 24 hour fitness in the United States which is awesome. Thank you 24 hr fitness and team, you guys are Great!

I was a member for several years and after tolerating broken machines and over crowded conditions, I've finally switched to a newer, cleaner, more open gym. This gym consistently has machines broken; the equipment is not up to date and most needs new padding. There is limited space to use and you feel like you're on top of others while working out. Not enough workout towers. It's a bizarre microcosm of people who work out here. I'd search around for other gyms with better equipment if you're looking.

Place is amazing, staff is great! On the downside, we need more and better equipment for the basketball courts. The rims are damaged, and some do not have nets.Theres also alot of dead spots on the basketball court as well.

To start off, I have attended 24 hour fitness for a while now and have made good use of the available equipment. However I do have some complaints I would like to address. The redeeming qualities are that out of the other 24 hour fitness’ in Bergen county, this is the only gym to have a basketball court. They have workout rings too, but it’s in the lower area where it’s closed from 4 pm to 8 pm. However, specific workers have irritated me at this gym. The trainer Laurence is rude to anyone he isn’t training, and the front desk worker named Johnny stops you if you look under 18, saying you need a parent’s permission to enter. Since when? No other 24 hour fitness’ have said this. Bathrooms are usually a mess. Side Note, this isn’t the gyms fault but usually in the mens bathroom there are many instances of elderly men standing around nude with no intention of changing right away.

Hello, this message is to the owner or Gm that operates for the gym. I paid in full for the year for myself and my father. Doctor recommended my dad to join a gym with a pool since he’s in a chronic health condition and he’s 62 years of age. This guy named Gene that works as a lifeguard yelled and mistreated my father and kicked him out of the pool. This is certainly terrible bad customer service and now my dad doesn’t wanna go back. We complained to lidia and she advised us to send an email but I also decided to do it through here since I own gyms myself. We have no problem on taking our business somewhere else if we can get our money back or have this employee removed. We also know we are not the only ones complaining that he has treated like this. I’m more than happy to come in with my dad to speak to the GM or owner in person. FYI cardio is not in optimal condition nor are the restrooms but we at least expected good service. So I please ask you to address this asap

This place has become a joke. there are a lot of cardio machines, but a good third of them are broken. My last visit there yesterday was my LAST visit . At least a third of the cardio machines are broken. It had to be about 85 degrees in the cardio area. It was AWFUL. So people are naturally sweating all over the equipment, and all the paper towel dispensers were empty. Do you know what this means? It means no one can clean their sweat off the machines after they sweat all over them. All the paper towel dispensers in the weight rooms were empty as well. The class studio was about 90 degrees, seriously.

Roaches in the locker room amd sauna. Pool closes during week from 12 pm to 4 pm, and weekends close at 2pm for the rest of the day, no other 24-hour fitness does this, but since the franchisee wants to cut cost hurts the paying customer. The brand is being destroyed because of the franchisee owner. Locker room is nasty, and they got rid of the cleaning person, so its really disgusting now. Pictures to follow. Go to La fitness instead same price.
