“Well worth the trip! After seeing reviews I drove 3 hours from Upstate NY to drop off my Vanagon with Kevin and Brian (the train station within a block of shop makes this ideal). At drop off Kevin didn’t just take the keys and shoo me out. He took the time to discuss everything I wanted done. Brian sent pics, texts, and called daily to update me on how progress was going. At pick up Brian thoroughly went through everything. They know VWs. These guys care, something you don’t always get these days. “I have been coming to Atpro Transmissions for about 2 years now to have basic maintenance " Transmission Filter Changes". When I first came here, I was very nervous but Moz was very honest and suggested a "Transmission Filter Change" first to see if that would correct the problem. The problem was corrected and I was very happy. Recently my "Front Transfer Case" went in my Pathfinder. Moz fixed my car very quickly and my car runs very smoothly. Walt was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish, a true expert.
I was having trouble finding a local shop to install an upgraded clutch and flywheel for me and was referred to Keswick Transmissions by another shop unwilling to do the work I asked.
Walt was always friendly, and offered so much knowledge to help me understand where the problem was with my vehicle. Not only did he finish the job within the time he promised, but went above and beyond. He even took the liberty to show me the damaged parts he replaced and explained each so I would understand.
Walt also kindly put some gas in my vehicle and my tires were inflated when I picked it up.
He is a true professional that is extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and most of all, honest. (hard to find these days)
If I ever need anything again, my car will go to Keswick Transmissions. I won’t let my family and friends take their vehicles anywhere else, he’s the man!
