11:30AM - 6PM
3025B 3rd Ave, Bronx“This was the magnum opus of collectible stores. Have never been in a place like this, a safe haven in New York. Come here if you want to enjoy the good things in life.”
“mr. henry has been the most friendliest, kindest man since i first met him when i was a teenager. over two decades later he’s always there with a smile! i love grabbing a shirt and a conversation and will continue to do so for many moons to come!”
11AM - 8PM
687 Broadway, New York“Love this place! Friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere, and very interesting things. I’m a oddities and curiosities collector so if you are one too I highly recommend this place for you!”
“Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a fantastic collection of new and old comics. They also have a really great collection of collectibles in stock. They've also got a large collection of graded comics.”
10AM - 8PM
761 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn“Artist & Craftsman store for years— I’ve been so happy to find that the Williamsburg location offers the same level of warmth and kind customer service! Taylor and Abdiel helped me find some leather paints this week, Bryn and another associate (whose name is escaping me, sorry) helped me with spray paint/acrylics recently as well. Everyone was so patient and they never make me feel annoying for asking advice about the products. I will keep coming back, because the experience reminds me of home :) also the music always slaps. 10/10”
10:30AM - 6PM
11 E 33rd St, New York“It has a bit of everything. And if you like boardgames, it's worth visiting if only to take a closer look at the games, RPG figures, dice, Magic cards, and everything else that this large library has.I found the prices to be very similar to those found on the internet.”
11AM - 7:30PM
16 E 17th St, New York“WowBeen ages since I was last here and the place is as I remembered- super friendly and helpful staff. The “technician” restrung my beads (that kept breaking) on the spot for less than $10! And what an improvement given the various choices she offered . And with a guarantee to come back if it fails/falls off.Def will be back with other beads in my vast collection. Go here first and only!!”
“Great resource you can get almost anything here. I like that you can buy singles of things like specific pencils or brushes. Usually online you have to buy them in packs. Even if you just go in and look around you can often find something new that you want to try.”
9AM - 9PM
2289 Broadway, New York“Love book stores which are virtually a relic of the past. A nice place to spend some time browsing titles. I was looking for books for our grandchildren. I noticed it was a draw for some neighborhood seniors as a place to cool off on a hot summer day while reading up on some titles.”
“Nice place but beware it's not a shop where you can drop in to play board games (in contrast to a different Google review I've seen), they only allow you to sit down and play games during specific events they host.”
10AM - 7PM
3192 Webster Ave, Bronx“I love this place I’ve bought a few cars from them now and have not been disappointed. They have great prices and even better Atmosphere Mike is amazing technician when it comes to these RC If there’s something that someone can’t figure out, he can.los is also amazing very knowledgeable and have a lot of patience . Ian seen how much I was into the hobby and made sure I was enjoying it appreciate all of you guys work”
“Tannen's shop is magical. Anyone who has made it to the 6th floor at number 45 and to door 608 will end up in a paradise for magicians. Hundreds of tricks are waiting behind the large counter to be demonstrated and purchased. There is also a whole library of magical literature on the shelves.”
“After finding this store online several years ago, and talking cross-country to Jimmy several times - it was such a joy to come and spend an hour or more looking at and trying multiple pens my husband and I were considering. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly - it felt like an hour spent with friends! We bought several items for ourselves and at least one gift!”
“My favorite spot in all of NYC for games amd gaming needs! If you're in Williamsburg, Twenty Sided Store is a must stop destination! The owners and employees are amazing! Tell em Juris sent you when you visit!”
“Coolest guy I ever met! Seriously Vieira gave my 10 yo son free coins to encourage him, and willing to share his knowledge with a little boy. How cool is that! Now my son is more serious in the hobby because of him, and I'd love to go back there and recommend this place to anyone into coin collection!”
1 - 11PM
42-11 Broadway, Astoria“One of my favorite places in Astoria that I don't stop in nearly enough. Also one of the few places that can feed my addiction of buying too many Digimon cards.”
11AM - 6PM
8 Elizabeth St, New York“Every time I take a trip down to the city with my brother we always make sure to visit and get something from here. I picked up The O this time. The owner is a really nice dude.”
“I love playing at this store, the owners are friendly and the crowd is always lively here, it doesn’t stink and there’s a lot of space and options for TCG bling. They offer store credit for prizes that can be used for packs or other TCG bling like dice playmats and deckboxes, and u get participation points/ store credit for entering in commander nights. That’s the best part. I’ve never done trade ins so I can’t rate that aspect but they have a bunch of bulk singles for sale. Ur store credit doesn’t expire either btw”
11AM - 6PM
261 W 125th St, New York“Really cool place but apparently you’re not allowed to take any content there which sucks for influencers, but I’m definitely going back to grab my materials”
“Gary's great I've been going there since 1980 and every time I do if he doesn't have it the can usually get it. In fact I have to go soon I need flat cars.”
“Talk about going back in time to all your childhood memories of puzzles, model airplanes, crafts, and my favorite toy soldiers. This place is the real deal warm to your heart, use your brain muscles. For old or young let's not forget how video games started old school!!! Loved this place!!!”
10AM - 4PM
508 Broad Ave, Ridgefield“First of all, Peggy was so kind to let me in 1 minute before closing. And on top of that she was so patient in showing me different planes and cars to choose from. The place is massive and FULL of many toys, collectible cars, planes, ships, you name it! Best of all, their die cast items are reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back.”
10:30AM - 5:30PM
304 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst“Best Hobby Shop I've ever been to hands down. Mike the owner is very knowledgeable and will work with you on deals and answer all of your questions. Incredible amount of 80's and 90's wax along with all current product, low end to high end. If you're in the area, check it out.”
9AM - 9PM
465 River Rd, Edgewater“It has oil and acrylic paints, a variety of brushes and various plastic arts, including frames ready for your paintings, as well as various materials that can be sublimated and equipment to personalize clothing and accessories. I bought Windsor & Newton Acrylics, which are what I use in my paintings.”
“Chris and his staff were professional and so helpful. They were very patient while I was making my decision regarding the size of my future flag and pole. It’s such a beautiful site to watch the flag fly proudly as well as a tribute to my Dad who was a Veteran. Thank you AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL FLAGS & FLAGPOLES!”
“Hollywood Heros has two things going for it. 1) An amazing, incredible selection of toys, new and vintage. 2) The nicest owners possible. My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.”
9AM - 8PM
545 NJ-17, Paramus“I love the store and the discounts they always have! My only complaint is the fact that having up to 10 registers lines why theres only two registers open ? It doesn’t make sense when there is more than 10 people waiting in line and you see associates just standing or walking around.”
“I drove from Harlem to have two pictures framed and I'm so glad I did. Angela was the sales associate/framer who helped me. She was an absolute sweetheart. Not only is she knowledgeable but she's patient and kind. This will be my go-to location for any framework needed from now on.”
“a really cool coins and collectibles shop in astoria that has plenty of coins, paper currency, jewelry, antiques and other neat stuff for sale and buy with honest staff that will tell whats worth what. came on a friday afternoon to get some old usa coins and paper money from africa appraised . the coins value has slightly increased since my last visit to another coin place but the foreign paper money has not. i browsed around a bit after finding out my coins value might still keep me humble but what joy i had as soon as i saw a few old dc horror comics for save at 30 bucks each.. i enjoyed my visit and the gentleman who gave me a honest value report on my currency , told me to bring more stuff and get no pressure to buy or sell info. i will be back and see what my 2 dollar bills are worth.really cool shop in astoria that deserves another visit .”
“This is a place where all your nerdy, anime loving dreams come true. Staff is very nice and helpful all the time. Overall a great place to shop for your nerdy/geeky crafty needs.”
