Just like others have said, there is no price indicated on items and you have to go up to the register to check how overpriced their items are. They were charging $8 for a small bag of chips and when my husband decided to put it back, the lady rudely replied in Korean, “Fine, don’t buy. I’ve got a plenty of customers who will pay the price. A man so stingy isn’t useful at all 그래 사지마~ 살 사람 많아~ 남자가 저렇게 쪼잔해서 어디 써먹어”?? Like c’mon lady, that snack woulda cost $3 MAX at other stores and if you put correct price on items, we wouldn’t even have bothered bringing it to the register. So unprofessional and rude! Will NOT be giving this place business anymore.

Items are expensive and you often have to find the price when you check out at the cash register. Worst of all is when it's the old lady/grandma working at the cash register. She is rude, condescending, and very unprofessional. Hate this place and will never go back.

Cute little Korean market. A large variety of food and alcohol options. Love supporting a small business??

Overpriced + expired items!! I was too lazy to go to H mart and went here instead which was a big mistake. As everyone else mentioned, there’s no price tag on anything. 1 pack of sausage, 1 small bag of chips and 1 drink was over 20 dollars. They charged 5 dollar for a small drink and it was expired. Never going back.

This is the worst store. Expired product and unfriendly owner... It's such a nightmare.

Like everyone else I had an extremely bad experience at this place. I’m new here so I just went in for few snacks and I was there were literally no price tags on any of the items. I went to the cashier to ask her about the item and a chocolate was priced $4, for what? I have no idea. Anyways, I got confused to whether get the entire 3 chocolate or no because it didn’t make sense and she started telling me to hurry up and added “if you can’t decide this much then you probably can’t think” implying that I was dumb. Like bro who is she to tell me that when she herself doesn’t know how to run a business and has a complaint from every customer? Also, there was no customer behind me so no one was waiting in line. I wanted to have a good day and take snacks for me and my family and that old woman completely took that away from me. No wonder her shop is old , grey and empty almost every time. She needs proper etiquette and needs to learn that’s not how you deal with customers here. Or maybe she completely lacks empathy and decides to ignore all the bad comments people have about her.

This place uses predatory pricing. Will overcharge you on items as there are no price tags. I was charged $57 dollars for a bottle of soju, 2 bags of chips, and a lollipop. It looks like they engage in fraudulent practices based on other reviews. If you have also been scammed, please make a complaint below. This place should be investigated.

no price tags, pretty sure the lady just eyeballed the items and charged me $20 for 2 bags of chips, a bottle of tea, and a pack of gummies

I had a very unpleasant experience at Hanmi Supermarket. Not only were there no price tags on the items, but I also experienced racism and discrimination from the staff. When I asked for help, I was met with rudeness and hostility. The worst part was when I was asked to leave the store without any explanation or justification.I was shocked and disappointed by the treatment I received at Hanmi Supermarket. I would not recommend this store to anyone, and I will not be returning. I hope the management takes the necessary steps to address these issues and improve their customer service.

I'm utterly appalled by the gross racism and smug arrogance I experienced at this store. Many items were without prices, and when I tried to examine a product, an old lady told me I couldn't browse without buying. When I explained that the lack of prices made it difficult to decide, she made a derogatory comment about me being different from her "real" customers who buy regardless of price, insinuating that my race or ethics made me welcome. this store will be shut down soon. How dare they treat customers in this way."

Grocery shopping usually doesn’t warrant a review but this place is so bad I had to write about them. There are no price tags on the items and of course they’re over priced. The walnut cookie we got from the counter had mold in them in less than a day, so gross!

What a find on this Christmas Day evening. Hanmi market. We have one in Rochester back in MI. I was quite happy to find the Lotte brand corn tea. We took their stock in the cooler. They have two other corn tea brands, but the Lotte is my absolute favorite corn tea out there. We grabbed a bottle of water as well. $29.50 for 9 Lotte corn silk tea and the large water bottle. They had the flamin hot cheese puffs. Seeing the Corn Pops cereal reminded me of my younger days of elementary, that used to be one of my favorites as a kid.
