Never once did I feel like she was rushing me and the dresses she picked for me were amazing! She really listened to everything i said and we found the perfect one for me! Im so I went with them!!”

“The team at Bianca (Allen, Helen and Lisa) were all so helpful during the engagement ring process. They were so patient with us. They worked with our budget and helped educate us on diamond grading and ring designs so we could customize our ring. After we selected the design, they coordinated execution with my boyfriend so the proposal was a surprise 5 months later. The ring is beautiful! It looks so much better than I imagined and the craftsmanship is immaculate. They even resized it at no additional charge after the proposal due to weather impacting my finger size. The process was very smooth, thanks to their customer service!”

“It was an absolute PLEASURE working with Lauren Austin from ADA Diamonds! From the start, even though she had taken over our first contact person at ADA, she introduced herself with such a friendly attitude and was very comprehensive in explaining the whole process to my partner and I. I usually feel very anxious and intimidated when meeting with people over video calls, but she quickly made me feel very comfortable and kept the conversation very open and supportive in helping me find my dream engagement ring. When my partner and I came in for our first appointment, we were greeted by nothing less of smiles and positivity and honesty, as well as delicious welcome drinks! Lauren truly made us feel at home and didn’t make me feel persuaded in any way. She got back to me super quickly and within a few hours she drew up a design and had it set. Everything happened so smoothly for a last minute “project”. “I have been going to Ally's Bridal for years for all my alterations needs. She is incredibly talented, awesome to work with, and often a life saver last minute! Most recently, I went for alterations for my rehearsal dinner dress and wedding dress. My rehearsal dinner dress was handmade in Ethiopia using a woven fabric but it ended up being too large and not as structured as I would have preferred. Yoon listened to my concerns of keeping the intricate colored fabric on the sleeves and side body intact and helped me find a solution. She was able to reconstruct the bodice and adjust the fit while keeping the important details. My wedding dress also fit like a glove on my wedding day. Yoon suggested adding a French bustle to the dress that ended up being a lovely addition. Always appreciate a recommendation from someone with so much experience. I've recommended Ally's Bridal to all my friends and family and will continue to do so!”

I brought my wedding dress in to be hemmed and knew it would be slightly tricky because it had to be brought up from the waist, due to a ton of beading at the bottom. Her understanding of what needed to be done and suggestions on additional modifications (like bringing up the shoulders) were flawless. My dress fit perfectly when I picked it up. She was able to meet my timeline even though it was a quick turnaround and her pricing was fair. 10/10 would recommend to any bride who needs adjustments to their dress. You are in great hands. “I had the best experience coming to Lovely Bride. My bridal consultant was Janelle, who was communicative, a great listener and made me and my family feel super welcomed. Prior to my appointment she communicated with me via text to identify my top 3 dresses I wanted to start with. She asked great questions to understand how a felt about each style I tried on. I ended up falling in love with my wild card that I tried on. She was not pushy to tell me that it was the one based on my reaction, but allowed me to navigate it myself my asking great questions. She knew I had another appointment later in the day and did not make me feel bad about that or like I had to make a decision on the spot. All of my selections were in the portal later that day with pricing. I eventually made a purchase appointment 2 weeks later all communicating via text (super easy). This time I wanted to bring my Grandma who has limited mobility and would not be able to make it my wedding. I gave the salon a heads up and they put us in the room closest to the entrance so she would not have to walk much and even offered to take out their ramp in front of the store to accommodate the three steps they have to enter. In the end I said yes to my dress and had the most welcoming experience with my closest people, which I will never forget. Lovely Bride holds a select amount of brands that feel a lot smaller and more niche than what you would find at a big wedding store. I LOVED that. It was the only store in NY that held the original dress I wanted to try on and the only store in NY to hold the brand I ended up purchasing, which I thought was pretty cool.”

“I said Yes to the Dress at Aleana’s Bridal last weekend and had the best experience! Tovah was my stylist and she was so sweet and really knowledgeable about the different types of dresses. After showing her pictures of my dream dress she knew exactly what I was looking for. Plus she made me feel beautiful! I highly recommend this store and highly recommend scheduling with Tovah. Lana the owner was also very sweet and knowledgeable. For my appointment I brought my mom, cousin and fmil and we had the whole store to ourselves with undivided attention. “I cannot recommend The Hanbok enough! I went through Jasmine and The Hanbok team for my mom and mother-in-law's hanboks for my wedding. The hanboks were absolutely stunning, and both moms received so many compliments from family, friends, and other guests on the wedding day.

Jasmine and her team are so knowledgeable and talented - they helped customize the hanboks, so that it was perfect for each person. My mom had a specific color and design in mind, and Jasmine was able to bring my mom's vision to life. My mother-in-law was wearing a hanbok for the first time, and was not familiar with styles or colors that would best suit her. The Hanbok team guided her through the different styles and colors recommended for the summer season, and together, they designed a beautiful hanbok. Most importantly, both moms not only looked amazing, but also felt amazing, and there really isn't a better feeling than that :) Whether you've worn many hanboks in the past or you're looking to wear one for the first time, Jasmine works with you to create the most special hanbok for your occasion.

It's a family run enterprise and the star is the matriarch Kiymet. She handles the expert tailoring done at the shop. I have had several jackets, coats and pants taken in since my weight loss. She is an expert at her art. Her advise is always on point. Needless to say, I have been completely satisfied with her amazing work. I have a few designer pieces of clothing that I have trusted Kiymet to work her magic with scissors, needle and thread. I highly recommend her work and any service offered at La'Ber. “From start to finish, my experience with Carol Hannah was incredible and everything I hoped buying a wedding dress would be. The dress I bought from Carol was actually my second and should have been my first! I made the mistake of going to a rushed, pressured, stressful, annoying big name NYC bridal warehouse and getting a dress that was fine but really wasn’t THE dress.I found Carol Hannah after my Instagram algorithm got me and the Aquarelle in satin faced organza propped up. I was in love. I emailed immediately and asked if they could rush it, had a size in the studio to try on (I’m tall and curvy) and made sure it fit my budget - I was in luck! All three were yeses (and the rush cost was even super reasonable).The Friday before Christmas, I went into NYC and met with Carol to try the dress. It was everything I hoped for and more. Carol was a delight and explained what inspired her to make the dress and took time and care with me. I gained weight in the last few years and have struggled with my body, but I was never ever made to feel like I didn’t belong in this beautiful piece of art. Carol was reassuring and kind and reminded me a few times that the dress was meant to fit me, not the other way around.
