Although Tom and his staff are nice. State Farm as a whole is terrible. I made a claim with them over a month ago. I have had three adjusters assigned to me where appointments were made for them to come out. Then on that day they don’t show or even call. Meanwhile I had to take off of work to be home for them. Totally unprofessional.

as far as I am concerned they should not even get one star they did nothing but waste my time over a two week period and then had me come in to sign papers @hours later told not going to write policy because a drunk driver drove into my house which i disclosed in our very first our first conversation in which was not a problem until time to sign papers they have wasted 5 hours of my time

this agency did nothing but waste my time and money they will tell you about the policy you are about to purchase and make an appointment with you just to stopo by and sign papers meanwhile 2hours later and they finally going to print the paperwork having already taken my money and tell me they cannot write the policy after two weeks and 2h in their office and they tell me all of a suudden they cant write the policy all they do is tell lies to get you in the door do not waste your time here because that is all it is .... one big waste of time !!!

I can't understand the poor reviews !!! Tom and his office staff are patient, friendly, honest and beat my prior agency by a significant amount!!!! I worked with Doreen, she is a wonderful person. The coverage is even better than with my previous company that I had been with for over 20 years. My prior company was the one with the not funny ads btw with the emu!!

Be aware of this agent. I have been going through hell getting my auto insurance coverage through Mr. Flynn's office. Bought the car from dealer in August, got all insurance documents by email and USPS. Then mysteriously all collision and comprehensive coverage was dropped in September and I was never notified! I found it from statefarm website. Call center folks were clueless. A lot of emails and calls later, it got reinstated but a few days ago , I found out that the auto insurance got dropped completely because of nonpayment. I set it up to automatically withdraw from my checking account but again someone from his office changed it to monthly manual payment WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. My interactions with this agent and his staff convinced me that this particular agent REALLY DOES NOT GIVE A DAMN TO CUSTOMERS! Stay the heck away and if you decide to go with State Farm, just choose another agent.

I've been using Tom's office for years and his staff's service has been nothing but great. First signed up when I lived in Oradell, but moved away and kept my business here with Tom's office because they are awesome. I've had two major incidents on the road and state farm has always been an absolute pleasure to deal with, whether it's the 24x7 line or the Oradell office. One accident was not my fault at all, and State Farm fought for my 100% return. The other more recent accident was 100% my fault, and State Farm has been nothing but gracious in dealing with my situation. A+

BE AWARE!! guys, DO NOT buy State Farm and if you DO, Please DO NOT Choose this guy as your agent. I recently switched to StateFarm and bought a home owner's insurance policy with his office, made payment for 12 months. a Day later I received a binder document which clearly explained policy effective date and coverage. And all of a sudden 45 days later, I received a letter from State Farm saying "please be aware the quote provided did not bind coverage, thus no coverage is in effect". So I called his office at 6:00 pm and there is no one to receive my call. So it got transferred to 24x7 customer service and they said my policy is 'not active' They didn't have any idea if my policy was ever active and if it was why it got canceled. This guy received full 12 months premium and canceled my policy, put my home in DANGER by ending my policy without informing me. I have never seen such RECKLESS behavior from any insurance firms/agent. Now I have no idea what is happening at State Farm. I can't even get my refund immediately to buy new policy from somewhere else. Customer representative on call said I will have to wait to receive call from my Agent.
