Joe Belbol has been preparing my personal and business tax filings for five years now. Joe and his team have always been helpful, patient and thorough. They are always there to answer my questions and make sure I am aware of and understand each step during the process. His team also contacts me prior to tax season via phone, email and mail to make sure I have all the necessary papers ready before my visit to the office. I feel like I have a whole company working just for me when I deal with Belbol & Associates.

Like most non-accountants, taxes and accounting are not exactly my cup of tea. After starting my own business, I tried to read and think my way through a labyrinth of complex, counterintuitive, and sometimes illogical tax rules. After meeting with Joe and talking at length about all of the issues that had been so perplexing, I realized I had been wasting a lot of time trying to do everything myself. Since then, Joe has taken care of my business taxes and payroll. In addition, he has gone out of his way to help me apply best practices to my QuickBooks accounting. It's a great feeling to know that my taxes and accounting are being handled properly and that in the event of an audit I wouldn't have anything to worry about. Joe is always quick to get back to me whenever I have a question or concern and he goes out of his way by taking the time and effort to make sure we are on exactly the same page. I recommend him without reservation to anyone who needs an accountant. Without a doubt, Joe is an outstanding accountant, but more importantly, he is a man of character and integrity who follows through and always puts the best interests of his clients first.

It is a pleasure working with a CPA that communicates so well and is actually meeting periodically with me to strategize how to improve the financial direction that my business should be taking . I was quite satisfied with the accounting firm that I had used for the past ten years, but I'd become acquainted with Joe through a business networking group and made the decision to engage his services for the 2009 tax year. Joe reviewed both my business and personal taxes and discovered an oversight on my business return from the previous year that had been made by former accountants. He found that I was entitled to a significantly larger refund due to this error. As a result of Joe's astuteness, the refund I received on my 2009 tax return was several thousand dollars greater than it would normally have been. I find Joe to be incredibly helpful when it comes to helping me take care of all the different financial aspects of my career and interests. Joe is a lot more than just an Accountant, he is a Financial Adviser in the truest sense of the title. He not only answers questions for me (no question seems too hard for Joe to respond to), does all of my taxes and helps me maximize my interests, but also pro-actively comes up with ideas and ways where I can save even more money! He has put me in touch with contacts he knows as part of his regular course of networking, and putting like minded NJ business people together and that has been an asset as well. For the past 5 years Joseph Belbol has personally worked with me to prepare my taxes. I am self-employed and over the years Joseph has been an incredibly valuable resource. Aside from preparing my return Joseph provides advice and insight on numerous topics through our face to face meetings, phone calls, and periodic newsletter which he sends to all his clients who request it. We have been using Joe's firm for several years. We have always received excellent and thorough service. He was able to help recover funds from an adoption claim that was initially denied and a previous accountant was unable to accomplish. The staff has always been courteous and respectfull.
