It was my first time at this location as I am new to this area. Crystal was very pleasant and made my checkout experience phenomenal. She was very friendly and possessed a lot of product knowledge. Can not thank her enough! Crystal is awesome!

I applied for a job at Walgreens in Old Bridge, N.J. I was offered the job at $15.50/hour. They told me they had to perform a background check. I emailed a letter to human resources about my background. That letter went unheard and I never received a response. I am not perfect and have made some mistakes in my life. They didn't even give me a fair chance to explain ANYTHING! It is so sad that for people with ANYTHING on they're background report, that automatically disqualifies you for the opportunity to work at that place. As is the case with me. People wonder why someone like me has to rely on welfare when I am perfectly capable of working and someone else could use the benefits I will be receiving. These jobs could at least request a probationary period, or if it is drugs on your background then they should test those people randomly. Instead, they look at a piece of paper and judge you by a piece of paper when I am much much much more then that. This is what's wrong with the world, that some of us are completely looked past. How is anyone supposed to try to better their life and become a productive member of society? I have 0 felonies, 0 drug charges but again why does it matter? Yes, I have made poor choices but I'm trying to better my life for myself and my children whom I have custody. These places are the reason we have people who re-offend, because no one wants to hire anyone with ANYTHING on your record. It's a safe world we live in because then people like me will be called "lazy" say that I'm "sucking off the state" when they don't know how hard I've been trying and because of places like this, we are turned away.

Recently switched all my meds here after horrendous experiences at the Walgreens in Parlin as well as the rite aid in Parlin. Was going to the perth amboy Walgreens for a bit but would literally be in their line for hours. I’m on roughly 4 meds a month and I’ve never had an issue at this pharmacy until recently. Long story short, it just depends which pharmacist is working at this location. It’s not the best pharmacy to go to but it’s far from the worst.

Racist security employee. I went to this Walgreens today (July 6th, 2023 @ 3:35-3:43pm) and it was almost empty: 3 white customers, 2 Indians and my friend and I. I’m a white Hispanic and my friend is a Black Hispanic. We went shopping separately until my friend decided to check for make up that she needed. Having done my shopping, I approached her hoping she was done too. She had 3 make up items in her hands, I had nothing in my hands. Within 5 minutes, I hear what I believe was a guy in the security room (monitoring the cameras) calling for security to the Make Up aisle through the speaker system. There was NO ONE there except my friend and I. I have not even touched 1 product there when they were already accusing us of being thieves. I cannot believe this happens in Central NJ where the population is so racially diverse and, according to my son’s school, they are over 100 languages and races all living together within the same area. This security guy was lucky that no employee came, because I was waiting for him/her with a couple of words of my own and a police complaint from discrimination. Needles to say, I am not coming back to that store EVER!!!!SHAME ON YOU!!!

Called 3x today only to get “ I’m sorry the staff is answering other calls. Please hold on and we will be with you shortly.” 20 minutes later still on hold. Not worth my time. I will go to CVS to fill my script.

Always Always wait to long to drop off script at drive thru. Understaffed. Then wait two hours. To wait online again. Computer does not seem to keep ins info. Cannot hear tech thru new outdate speakers system..lol. Cvs better service.

I was there today and an employee, Christian, was stocking water as the line was growing he was asked to open up a register. Christian was unhappy and took a few six packs of water and shoved through an elderly woman and I saying "watch out!"...he opened a register and I told home that he was rude and its "excuse me" not "watch out"....his response was thats in my world. I admit I lost my cool after his response and told him to knock the chip off his shoulder and stop being a brat...boo hoo he called a manager, 3 managers show up and 2 other employees and stood behind the registers allowing Christian to yell at a customer and basically looked bullying to me. The managers then hid their name tags except for Dante who snidely said that i should give his name to corporate. This also begs the question why the line is so long with so many employees and managers.i hope this is on video in the store. On the way out Christian yelled good luck with corporate. It's amazing how we as buying customers are treated today. I've already switched prescriptions from here and will now drive an extra half mile to CVS. Corporate will be contacted.

Photo department sucks. The pictures always come out blurry and messy. Jennifer I guess the team lead or whatever is very rude and prissy and NEEDS to fix her attitude around customers!!! This store will always be one star in my book.

The store part is great but the pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I've ever been too. They never have prescriptions ready and horrendous long lines. If you need to call them good luck, they will have you on hold for 20 min and hang up on you. This has happened to me on multiple occasions. The only thing this pharmacy has won is the worst pharmacy ever!

Their system is trash. App never seems to work properly, and I updated my address almost 2 years ago which was fine up until last month then it reverted back to my old address. I have since updated it 2x and still keeps going back to old address.Currently I am on hold for 35+ minutes. Someone answered said "please hold" at the 32 minute mark. Seriously? At the 37 minute mark their system just hung up on me. Update I spent 2+ hours on hold through multiple phone calls and spoke to the store team lead who I’m pretty sure didn’t understand the issue. Was only focused on the 1 needing prior auth. Not the new one that said insurance expired not sure how that happens when 2 others approved on the same insurance unless they ran my old insurance that was also updated and on file for 2-3 months. Marked the prescription canceled.They’ve even made the process of transferring my medications to a different company difficult. Called this morning then they sent them called again and informed one didn’t go through properly and they’re just like we sent it….. instead of arguing I’ll just have my doctor prescribe it again elsewhere.I was reminded both times I had 2 ready and both times told them to put them back both times

Worst pharmacy. They have never had my prescription filled until I arrived and asked for it to be filled… half of the time they tell me it’ll be ready in 30 minutes I come back to them telling me they don’t have it in stock… why they don’t know that 30 minutes prior is beyond me. Every pharmacist on duty there makes their own rules with all different levels of interest in resolving issues… zero consistency. Would not recommend having this pharmacy for medication you actually need.

The pharmacy takes hours to fulfill orders and I usually have to physically go in and watch them prepare it or they won’t get it done before they close.
