Long story short, I love this place! I have yet to have a bad experience with Cathy & her lively team.
Walk-ins can sometimes be seen quickly but it you have to wait, it’s worth it! They do make appointments as well, and honor them as well. Cash or card payments are welcomed.
Seriously, best nail salon in Sayreville.
Requested style: I can come in with any design idea in mind and Cathy executes beautifully!!
Cleanliness: Very very clean! All tools are sanitized.

I’ve tried so many nail salons, and I’ve never had the customer service that I receive at Princess Nails! Everyone is so nice! So well priced, especially in today’s economy! Quick and beautiful nails! Highly recommend!

Unhappy customer here. My regular manicure was ruined after less than 24 hrs and I did not do any heavy cleaning or labor with my hands. The cuticles were not cut well, although I asked for a redo during the service. The technician took a very long time, had to apply 3 coats and it did not look good. Will not be coming back.

This is my go to nail place. The people here are so incredibly friendly! They remember you every time, remember what you like and actually interact with you as opposed to just speaking about you to each other! The hours are great and they never rush you out when it's getting time to close. It is also very clean and they use those plastic wraps for pedicures as well as opening new tools each time. The prices are extremely reasonable and if you pay cash, they give you a discount which is worth it. The only thing holding them back from the fifth star is the lack of talent. This is not a place where you bring IG designs and they make them come to life. There is only one person in the whole place who can do designs. There is also an older gentlemen (sits in the back) who I feel does a really terrible job. They can only do basic line designs and a French manicure is getting fancy. But if you just want a solid color, then they will do a great job for a great price.

Cathy is very segregated among her customers. You’ll book appointment and in the middle of your nails, she’ll tell you to get up cos she wants to do another’s I guess she deems more important! Since she was in a rush, my nails was messy and chipping off, don’t go there if you don’t want to be treated as an outcast cos of your skin. Yes she’s cheaper but she’ll rush you & get your nails done in 15 minutes, obviously not well done.

I like quick, plain good service that is affordable and lasts three weeks. I do not like the new people that come in here and expect $100 nails for $42. But if you want a good long lasting gel manicure this is your placeI don’t even want new people coming here…

I was not happy with my service at all the guy who did my nails was not listening to what I wanted and he did my nails in a very bad weird shape, I guess I’ll never come back here again waste of money

These pics were taken the day of my manicure (10/15/23). Joe started my manicure. He had a shaky hand and I believe that is why he didn’t go up to the cuticle. The color did not match and when I said it didn’t match the sample nail he caught an attitude and got nasty and loud with me because he had already completed the first coat. Once I saw the color did not darken w the second coat, it was clear it wasn’t going to match the nail sample. Once he got loud w me, I looked back and simply announced that I would have to talk to someone else bc he was being nasty and disrespectful towards me. Cathy then (very simply) fixed the color by putting a darker color on top but then the rest of it was all rushed. You can clearly see there is still cuticle / dryness around a couple of my nails. After dropping 52 dollars plus tip in here, I’m disappointed on how it was handled. When I tried to say I was unhappy w it looking grown out already, it was explained away w something about the top looking bumpy if it was too close to the cuticle. I know that’s not true bc I’ve seen fresh gel manicures before and they start at the base of the cuticle. The work is simply unacceptable (especially for the high cost of nail services in NJ) and the customer service is sub par. More should have been done to fix this; especially after having a male staff member raise his voice at me. I’m sure I was blown off bc it got really busy. In that case, they could have offered to fix it at a later time or been discounted. I’d be willing to give this place another chance but would be very specific about who would work on me bc my pedicure was pretty good. I wouldn’t say stay away from this place but I’d definitely stay far far away from Joe.
