I highly recommend if you are looking for a pet to adopt that you come visit Old Bridge Animal Shelter. They are truly invested in the animals that are there and aim at placing every single one in their forever home. You can literally feel the kindness from everyone there when you enter. I had the pleasure of working with Dan (one of the animal control officers) in adopting Moon, and she is my perfect match. Adopt don't shop, and please check them out! You will not be disappointed. Forever thankful!

I volunteer at the shelter most days. The staff is very friendly and works extremely hard to find good and loving homes for the animals. The animals all receive good care from the staff and volunteers. I highly recommend going there if you are looking to adopt a friend.

Clean and caring facility. The animals are treated humanely, cared for with intension, played with, loved and treated like family! Very impressive!

They are very busy taking care of the cats. I get the impression they could use more volunteers and donations.

Very good. About 7 years ago we were put up for adoption. Princess, she died for two months. Medical conditions are serious. She is in heaven. I'm looking for another dog to adopt.

We took home our lovely doggy just the other day and have nothing but wonderful things to say. The staff genuinely take great care of the animals as well as deeply care about them. Dennis was wonderful in helping us meet and take home the right pup that is best suited for our family. It is obvious that he knows exactly what he is doing as our dog is practically fully trained from spending her time there with him. There are so many dogs and cats there in need of a home, and I have to say all of the ones we saw were very well behaved considering some of the adversity they have faced due to their backgrounds. Karen was also wonderful in helping us through the adoption process. Despite the shelter being very very busy, we were able to meet and take home our wonderful little girl within a few days. On top of having this wonderful experience, the staff continue to follow up and see how our pup is doing in her new home and continue to offer us advice and help if needed. We are so grateful to this shelter for completing our family!

Though a bit crowded when we visited the cats, Celeste was so very knowledgeable about each cat that she made our search much easier than we expected when we first walked in. The entire staff and volunteers we met obviously love what they're doing and the cats we met all looked healthy and well cared for. Our little boy is a loving purr machine!
