Lou the owner is a gem. People like him are a diamond in the rough. I had a emergency situation with my 2009 Jetta and stop by unannounced. He fixed the problem within 15 minutes as a courtesy. Wow I am so appreciative. He knows volkswagens. First time meeting Lou, literally a strange and so kind! I was blown away, I have to bring him Italian Cookies!! True story....Past repairs for my Jetta from a Friend I know over 10 years., many repairs, charged me for a $3 light bulb, with a mark up to $20...go figure! OMG.

Great work. My car was ready when they said it would be. And the price of the work was better than another estimate I received. This place was recommended as a shop that would be able to do special work on VWs. And the customer service was excellent.

After telling me my vehicle would be inside, (it leaks) he left my garage kept 1967 bug convertible outside for almost 2 months. It's covered with rust spots and needs reconditioning. Also he never worked on the car, at all. He mentioned ordering a part a couple of weeks ago, said it was in... somehow still has no estimate of any repair. I am towing it home today feb 6th - mar 28th extremity disappointed, zero work and new rust & new dent in front bumper.If you have a show quality vehicle, don't bring it here.

Here is everything in a nutshell. Lou and his crew are the best I had some major work done on my 1968 vw transporter bus. After getting my bill i didnt have to get a 3rd job to pay for it. They are very honest and i just cant say enough.

This has to be the worst automotive repair shop I have ever dealt with, they do not not know what they are doing. They had my car for 2 weeks, I took to here to get repaired since this place is supposed to be a VW Speciality shop. After calling for a week straight with no answer, and failed to provided service on the promised date, I went down there and pick up my car, the person that was there said that there is nothing wrong with my car. Um my car is idling very rough that is not normal, my car is shutting off mid drive that is not normal, my rpm's spike up and down that is not normal. I highly doubt they even checked my car, it sat in their dump of shop for 2 weeks. This place is a complete joke and so is the owner and the people that work there. If I could give zero stars I would, but the best part is, that this place was recommend to me by another VW owner.

I brought my 2016 Volkswagen GTI in for a coolant leak; I had no clue where the source of the problem was. Lou was very honest, efficient, and did great quality work. I would definitely recommend using Hodi’s Performance.

Okay you are Volkswagen it's an older Beetle you know how hard it is to find a person to work on it Lou Who owns that shop over there in Old Bridge New Jersey he's packed he has Motors on stands that are he's rebuilding and he does all the work himself his sons are involved he rebuilt a 1600 motor for MileStat I stepped down a little too hard and ran that Volkswagen that has Parkway a little too fast and ended up with a problem I found Lou by way of friends I grew up in that town and he worked with us all the way through and the price for what he did on a Volkswagen motor did it has dual carburetors and was set up for performance we got it back read a different exhaust system a fantastic motor and guaranteed to do a hundred plus on the parkway with no problems Lou is a fantastic mechanic he has a great personality and the place is I'm real you just want to go in there and grab a motor and say it's fine thumbs
