I usually trust my gas attendant to give me the exact amount I want so I wasn’t watching what he was doing. Apparently my card was swiped twice and I bought more than the amount I asked for. Thought it was weird I wasn’t given a receipt like I would at every other gas station.

When the nighttime gas attendant is holding your credit card after he swiped it for approval, that's a problem. Called the manager, 'Bender', he said theres nothing wrong with holding a credit card and disappearing into the booth with it when every other gas station in Americapretty much just hands you back your card after your gas purchase has been approved.
