Very very bad experience on purchasing, strongly do NOT recommend them
I visited the dealership after doing online research and speaking over the phone couple of times to confirm they do not charge any additional fees other than documentation and DMV. When I visited on 7/13, the sales rep (Marco) said the vehicle I am looking is sold. I spoke to their online rep just 2 hours before so when I asked him to recheck, he said it is available! After test drive, I asked him for the total cost and I was told there is 10% fees on top of the price they are showing on their website!! When I told them that I have confirmed that there is no additional fees over the phone before I came in, their finance person (Mike) said he will try to void! Finally after back and forth, we agreed on the purchase price. I also wanted to purchase the warranty, for which Mike mentioned the company they work with is not offering good plan. So he is going to check with their service manager on cost of certification and CPO, will get back on Tuesday (7/16). I did not receive call so I reached and after 15 minutes of wait, I was told he is going to call me back. I did not receive call for 2 days, so I called on Thursday (7/18) again and still same response they will call me back. I called again on Friday (7/19), first time they picked up and transferred me to voicemail! Subsequent call to their main line, no one is picking up the call. I read from other reviews where it is mentioned they just don't pick up calls from known numbers. This is just beyond ridiculous. If they do not have warranty package to offer, they should just let me know and I would have bought it from other company. This is NOT what I expect from Maserati dealership! They wasted so much of time.
DO NOT WASTE your time going through purchasing with them!

I purchased a car from Park Place of NY (same owner as Maserati of Monmouth) in May, and unfortunately, my experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Here are the main issues I encountered:
Documentation and Follow-Up: The dealership failed to check the necessary documents initially and didn't provide adequate follow-up throughout the process.
Promised Spare Key: I was promised a spare key which never materialized, despite multiple assurances.
Delayed Trade-In Payoff: They took months to pay off my trade-in vehicle, leaving me to manage two loans simultaneously. This caused unnecessary financial strain.
Delayed Registration: I only received my car registration in mid-July, months after the purchase. This delay led to traffic tickets which the dealership did not cover or assist with.
Lack of Communication: Communication from the seller was extremely poor. They frequently ignored my attempts to contact them, leaving me in the dark about important matters.
Inappropriate Behavior: To add to the frustration, I experienced unprofessional behavior from the seller, including unwelcome advances.
Overall, my experience with Park Place/ Maserati of Monmouth has been one of incompetence, poor customer service, and disregard for customer well-being. I would caution anyone considering purchasing from them to thoroughly evaluate their options and be wary of these issues.

I had the worst experience ever buying from Maserati of Monmouth. In short: It seems as though the sales staff will say whatever they need to get you to purchase then ghost you as soon as you require service.
I purchased a BMW and had it shipped to Atlanta. The vehicle was at a great price and after buying it and now I know why. My only big requirement was to make sure the vehicle didn't smell like smoke and I was assured that the vehicle was a non-smoker. That was definitely a lie. I had a friend who lived nearby test drive the car prior to purchasing and holy moly they must've had a rave inside the car after he drove it or let him test an entirely different vehicle because the pictures below were how I received it (see the attached pictures).
The front bumper was disconnected "during the transport." And after taking it to multiple auto professionals I was told it needed to be fully replaced. While they did agree to get the interior damage detailed (something they said they had already done) and the air filters replaced, they told me quote: "As for the damage during transport there is nothing that we can do about that here at the dealership. I can get the transportation company name and contact information but that would be something that would have to be settled between you and them."
I have never spoken with the transportation company, I never hired them, I don't even know which one they used. When I called them out on how bogus that idea was, they told me that they would reach out to the transportation company and handle it on their end. Its been over a month since the car was delivered and its pulling teeth to get them to respond to anything.
Save yourself the headache if you can afford to. Chris was a good communicator up until the car was delivered with all its defects. Marin was initially helpful but someone should check on him because he's either the busiest man in the world or he's missing.
Update: 3 months after the purchase and correspondence, they have "still not been able to get in contact with the transportation company" which doesn't feel right. Marin hasn't been responsive at all to emails nor calls. If you're thinking about getting a vehicle from this place, I recommend considering a bicycle instead

All around terrible service. No one gets back to you. Honestly, this dealership should be shut down along with Mitsubishi in Freehold their sister dealership. Sold us a Maserati reported wrong information to car fax then claimed they would correct it and have not only received the run around as usual. I had to call for weeks just to get plates for the car as the temp plates expired it took one month after expiration to receive the plates. I was told they had the spare key went to both dealerships and for hours no one could even find it.
I submitted an invoice for repair needed two days after purchase and was told I would be refunded. No refund.
George stated everything would be taken care of nothing ever got resolved. Watch out as to how they report to car fax please this has caused our car sitting for weeks!!!!!

I went to this dealership a few months ago to look at a specific vehicle. The one in stock was not fully loaf. They claimed they would let me know if and when a vehicle meeting my requests came into stock. I found one in their inventory, made an appointment to look at the vehicle, which again, I was not notified they received. I arrived to find the vehicle was sent to another location. All they did was waste my time. I wouldn't go back to this dealership even if I were paid to do so.

Bought a used Volkswagen Tiguan from this Maserati dealership in March. A couple weeks after buying it the car started beeping real loud, showing a warning sign on the dash “ Please pull over safely and park car. Please check the starter system”. Then the entire dash and the whole car turns black. No music. No knowing how fast you are going. NOTHING. IT HAS DONE THIS MANY TIMES since purchasing this car. Bring it to Maserati and they can’t replicate the issue and it doesn’t show up on their computer. They recommend to bring it to a Volkswagen dealership to have them look at it. Volkswagen can’t replicate or find the issue on their computer. I have a video of car being blacked out while on and a picture of one of the warnings. Maserati wants nothing to do with this problem. Won’t call back. Claims it doesn’t show up on a computer therefore there’s no issue. Has customers driving in completely unsafe vehicles with children in them. They know this is an issue and an ongoing issue yet they don’t have the decency to do anything about it. They actually had the audacity to ask us to give them a 5 star review after we brought it to the Volkswagen dealership and Maserati tried making us pay that bill. It won’t let me upload the video or I would. We live in cape may. I don’t want an issue with a car I drove almost 2 hours to go purchase. That would be completely ridiculous.

Where do I begin!!! Terrible communication, unprofessional and loves to dodge customers calls. The females answering the phones will not answer my calls, instead they pick the phone up and forward my calls to somewhere else. I ordered a 20 Range Rover Evoque and completed the loan paperwork on 5/11/24. Waited and called the dealership about the vehicle not being delivered to me in Detroit, MI within that week. It took this dealership three weeks and lies to get it to me. Marco Racic and Marin Harwood refused to return my calls and answer my calls. I spoke to someone else there, Paul and he tried to fix the problem. I called today 5/24/24 to the dealership to speak with Eddie and of course no answer from him or a return call. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MASERATI OF MONMOUTH!!!! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AND PISSED OFF. I am going to have a fraud/scam investigation opened on this dealership.

I purchased a vehicle a few weeks ago, and I would like to thank Roxana for her professionalism and dedication. She was extremely helpful during the entire process. She even responded to my text on her day off. I would recommend her as your sales person.

The single worst finance department in my 40 years of buying cars out of state. Run away or plan on getting an attorney..

Absolutely love this dealership! I bought two cars in one month both from Roxana she is so sweet, knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating to all of our needs and concerns, made me feel like I was a member of her family and not just a customer. Answered all of my questions and concerns without making me feel pressured ❤️Eddie and Marin were both very helpful and made the deal easy, once more a no pressure atmosphere!
Zoltan in service is amazing took care of both of my cars and made sure they were perfect before we brought them home, so polite and very respectful to say the least. I can’t say enough about what a fantastic experience we had buying our cars from Maserati of Monmouth, we will definitely be back next year to buy our son a car! Highly recommend, make sure you ask for Roxana you will NOT regret it one bit ❤️

Saw they had a used car online that we were interested in. Someone reached out to make an appointment said we can look at the car the next day. Morning of they confirmed out appointment for the car we wanted to see. We get there and all of a sudden it’s been sold but they’ll show us other cars we are not interested in ???? Such a waste of time!
